Salisbury Lax

Post by Warmother »

I just want to brag about my alma mater some. Yesterday the Salibury University Seagulls defeated Middlebury U. 11-10 in lacrosse to win the D-III national title. Salisbury scored with 5 seconds in the game to gain there 3rd straight title and 49th straight win. The 49 victory's are an all divisions record for men's lacrosse.
I'm very proud of the boy's from the 'Bury, they have helped to keep a smile on my face over these long tough years with the Skin's. :)

I (with head hanging low) congratulate the Gulls. I can't be too happy b/c my wife and I went to Washington College. You guys have handled us pretty well since the late 90's in the "War on the Shore." Congrats but we'll get them Gulls next year ;-)

Congrats! Anytime a team from this area wins a championship, I am happy. Except for the Ravens...and the Wahoos...

Duke got creamed as well in the lax Div. 1 Championship - GOOD STUFF!

A friend of mine goes to school down there. We actually drove down for the marathon in Ocean City.

Congrats. Now I can go pester her about it.

The "War on the Shore" has been great. Washington College almost ruined the Gull's unbeaten season this year.

Just a note next year's game could be broadcast on TV. I have heard some talk. We'll see.

I hope so! That's a huge rivalry and it deserves a little more spotlight in the area. We couldn't go to the game this year but most definitely will next.

Let me know if you hear anything.
