Wow, I'm definately one of the older ones here. I just spent the day cleaning out my 20 year old daughter's dorm room at the University of Delaware.
Go Skins!!!

I will claim the fifth:

Fifth Amendment - Rights of Persons

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

In other words: "nemo tenetur seipsum accusare" or "no man is bound to accuse himself".

ROTFALMAO
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

I think I saw you when I was standing outside of the University of Delware dorms today with my high powered binoculars.

Oh, and while I'm here, 25.

dpierce, great to "share" with you! I don't think I've ever seen that - you have been a member since July of 03 and now we've finally managed to pull you into our "world"!

seriously though - welcome and have a great w/e!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Thanks, SkinsJock.

I've been lurking for almost two years and finally decided to post (it figures it would be an age thread).

Have a great weekend! Remember the sacrifices a lot of young people have made (and still make) for freedom.

Thank you. Thank you.

But thats really because of all the older people here, who spell correctly and use common sense. It rubs off on me, because you know, I don't see anyone using "U" or "UR", so it really feels like a mature enviroment.

The people here are really welcoming and really show mature points of view. So thats why I at least, seem a bit more knowledgeable.

57.

Yes, and I can remember the '59 Senators starting lineup: Ed Fitzgerald and Clint Courtney at C, Harmon Kellebrew butchering ground balls at third (played them off his chest and forearms...a big contrast to Eddie Yost), a SS and 2b group of Ken Aspromonte, Reno Bertoia, Jose Valdivielso, Herbie Plews, usually Roy Sievers at 1b, Bob Allison in CF, JIm Lemon in Rf, with Faye Throneberry (brother of Marvelous Marv) and that five-foot-five-inch outfielder (ex-rookie of the year at CF).

Starters like Camilo Pascual (17-10, 8 shutouts, led the league in strikeouts, hit .312), Pedro Ramos, Chuck Kammerer (pronounced like "Kemmer" for some reason), down-side Dick Hyde, Tex Clevenger, maybe Chuck Stobbs.

The Redskins? The "Papoose Platoon" in the backfield: Don Bosseler, Ed Sutton, and Jim Podoley. Eddie LeBaron at QB.

Etc.

Not a city of winning teams.

And we had a minor-league hockey team called the Presidents.

Thank you CP (a "young'un" who would probably otherwise use "U" or "UR" or "CU L8R" etc.) -- I consider this a huge compliment for the site and the boards.
