Sure It sounds cool and it will rock, but I'm not spending 50 billion dollars to play some video games.

last i heard there are 2 versions of it. The basic one which will be like $199.99 and a enhanced version with the HD, Tivo, DVD Remote,DVD Burner(sounds iffy), 1 year of Xbox Live(not too sure about this either) and other stuff for like $350- 370

This has to be my last post because Im gearing up for my 3K celebration.
That image is really great, the HD era of consoles is upon us but it still doesn't seem next generation to me. Xbox came out 2 years after the PS2 and is bringing out a console before the PS2 is done... Not that they need to work on Sonys schedule but MS is definately jumping the gun and its showing.
Heres a shot of a Xbox DOA game.
There isn't that big of a jump, at least not like it was from a PS1 game to PS2 game as shown below.
PS1
VS
PS2
Im definately excited about the new consoles but it just seems rushed.
*Runs of to finish thread*
*** I did some more reading and the shots we've posted aren't really confirmed. So if they aren't XBOX360 than thats a sigh of relief and my post can be ignored!

The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!
Those DOA shots were of DOA: Ultimate rendered using the 360 hardware. Besides some early concept art and early screens, of some games, most of the games that are in development haven't been shown yet. I can see where you may be a little skeptical of MS jumping the gun, but we haven't seen what the system is capable of yet, until this MTV thing and E3 we should not be too quick to judge.

HAHAHHAHA, that show was horrible, where should I begin?
1st and foremost let me say the name of this console is fitting, "360" indeed! You turn around and end up in the very same spot.
Lets begin with Peferct Dark 0. MS purchased RARE 4 years ago and they've done absolutely nothing.
These are the shots that were released for the XBOX360....
after this misleading render was released....
This guy right here....
reminds me of....
I dont want to hear any excuses for this game. Why when you're unveiling a next generation console would you show footage of a game thats on par with your current system? Thats retarded.
Aside from this game, I was very impressed. The footage for the 2k series b-ball game was ASTOUNDING. And the car game too.
If you TRULY want a HEARTY laugh. Read this thread on the same subject... I laughed for a good hour.

Yea i know what you mean i was also upset at how PDZ looked. aside from that the system features and the games really caught my eye. go to http://www.xbox360.com for 360 view of the system and the controller.
Gears of War
Ghost Recon 3:
Ninety-Nine Nights:
Test Drive Unlimited:
All these games look better than PDZ and it's a shame, even if the game supports up to 64 people online it should look beter than it did. At least we have the above games, and others to look forward too.

I thought the entire unveiling was kinda crappy myself. First of all Frodo hosting the event was blah. I couldn't tell if the footage that was shown was actual gameplay or title screen demo footage. I can understand they want to keep it under wraps but geez...
Ghost Recon looks good, PGR looks good and the sports games looked pretty good. Less talky, more screens and video is what I would have liked to see.
