proffit is playing, but when you go into the playoffs you have to establish a playoff roster and once they start that roster is locked down, so anyone such as Ramos who didn't make that is unavailable to the team.

Have no fear, some friends of mine are looking to increase the Wizards chances for a win by "high-lowing" Shaq on his way to the MCI Center. Let's see Miami beat us THEN!!!

Forget Shaq, tell them to get Wade.

Man. I was thinking it was something like that. But that sucks so much, we really have no one in the post now. And our guards haven't been consistent and our defense is again lacking.

I'm just happy that we beat the bulls. I didn't think we had even a remote chance to beat the heat. I just want to win one game, but even if we don't, the Wizards far exceeded my expectations this season already.

I'm in the same boat. If we can pull one win off in this series, I'd be very happy. Winning that first round series was almost as good as winning the championship for me... It's been sooooooooo long.

That said, I hope they can build on this season and win it all next year!!

Let's hope we are having this same conversation in January about the Redskins.

It's time. The 'Zards are in the playoffs. The Orioles are in first place. D.C. United won their fourth MLS title last year. There's only one team (omit Caps) left...Hail Victory!

Well, I certainly think that bringing the series back home will produce at least one victory. The last game was competitive to the end, and the Heat narrowly escaped defeat.

The home court should be loud tonight and on Saturday (i'm going Sat. night!!!!! :hail:). Hopefully we can reverse the losing trend to the Heat. Time to cool them off.

Have fun at the game! I have to take my LAST final exam (ever!...well, at least until grad school :D ), but I should be home to cheer the team on by the start of the game. I really hope our shooters come out blazing tonight (i.e. Juan, Gil, Larry, Antawn) - we will need them for sure! Go Wiz!

I'm so happy we built the bulls, but it seems like this series isn't very competitive.

i hope we resign hughes and he improves even more next year.

i also hope ramos freaking becomes a beastly center. he and haywood would be a good combo, and then ruffin could move to power foward.

bye kwame brown, i hope we get a good 3 point sharp shooter sometime.

You scared me for a minute  ...should've been re-sign. But I agree, we BETTER have him back next year - I love that guy! I have no idea how he manages to hold the ball for like 45 seconds after he goes up to the hoop! It always seems like the floor drops when he goes up - I've thought on many occassions that he traveled; only to see him pop the ball in the hoop a second later!
