The owner of the Eagles, Jeffrey Lurie, said the team will not renegotiate reciever's Terrell Owens' current deal, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "There are a lot of things I spend time thinking about, but that's not one of them," Lurie said.

It should clear the air once and for all. He would look very stupid if he back pedals this remark.

TO, on the other hand, he will show everybody how much of a loyal teamate he can be. ALL that he can be. :roll:

I dont see TO backing down either, especially after all this crap... If he drops his agent again, he can say he was advised in the wrong direction and come back and actually have a loyal fan base again. Otherwise, he'll miss out on some very big games the eagles have the first 4 weeks... TO loves the spotlight, and he doenst want to miss them.. it's gonna get interesting

I agree, back pedalling in this issue would put him in a very difficult position. It's a shame that after signing a multi million contract and after a season would holdout for more money.

Still think the eagles are gonna crumble slowly this season, just like a lot of other playoff teams from 04.
i hate the eagles so much... so so much.
