Wait a minute!!!!! Wasn't there a movie in the 80s by the same name??? "J.A.K.E." I believe it was about a kid cyborg or something; I remember him being good at baseball, but he was certainly not related to Lavar.

I did a little research and the name of the movie was "D.A.R.Y.L."

My apologies. But, "J.A.K.E." would be a good sequel, followed by a prequel called "J.A.S.K.E."
