Yes, I like Pierson Prioleau too. He hadn't been signed when I started this thread, so I hadn't commented on him.

Prioleau should give them a run for sure as he did well under GW already while in Buffalo.

Man it's nice to have depth

Maybe they will both be starting. If Sean Taylor doesn't get his butt into camp, Joe might just forget about him and give let Bowen and Clark be the new safties.

Even though I love Sean Taylor and I think he is the best athlete on the team, I wouldn't mind having Clark and Bowen in our secondary.

Plus, if Sean see's that we don't need him, maybe he'll just come and play football for the contract he signed.

I dont thnk our team has to have Taylor to be successful, but hes a great playmaker. I wouldnt be devastated if he didnt play this year but I would be wondering what if...?

Taylor will be in camp on time or he may start the season on the sidelines again. It seems it will be a good competition between Clark, Bowen and Lott. Prioleau was brought in for special teams help and if Lott loses out at saftey they battle for the spot on Teams

What is wrong with a rotation for certain plays mentioned above? Look at t as a win-win situation, or rather win-win-win situation.

For all those who think we have not improved as a team?

Last year, the discussion was Bowen vs. IFFY!!!!

If Bowen comes back 100%, I think he is the superior player.

Ryan Clark did a great job last season, but he didn't stand out like Bowen did before he went down with injury.

Regardless, the depth at the saftey position is encouraging.

my pick

Post by Punu »

Clark is good...
but BOWEN for sure is my pick... his rush attack really scares the crap out of a QB, in turn, he throws the ball into that hands of Springs or bobbles it to a LB... thats the way I see it...

If Bowen is ready, Bowen should start. I'm glad we've got Clark behind him, though. Clark's a great player.

The job is Bowens to lose. If Bowen truly can recover from his injury then he'll get the job. I really enjoyed seeing Clark out there last season, he and Taylor made an awesome combination. Its grea to have a problem such as this, quality depth isnt something we're used to.

Clark should be able to help us out in 3, 4, and 5 WR sets.

I liked Ryan Clark all year. Also, I don't ever remember Matt Bowen screwing up a tackle on Ricky Williams that resulted in a long TD run.

Also, I love the hit on Kenny Watson that saved a first down.
