New Jersey (not the State)

Post by Justice Hog »

As some of you may remember, several months ago I was goin' round and round about who to get for my next jersey. I was thinking about going "authentic" but in this day of free agency, it just doesn't make sense any more to invest in an "authentic" jersey for a current player. (The "authentic" jersey I own is "Justice Hog -#20" - I figured he ain't goin' anywhere.)

So.....after going back and forth about who to get.....I finally received my newest (replica) jersey today.

Watcha think?

I think that's an excellent pick ... although when I initially saw this thread I was baffled as to why anyone would want to discuss the Garden State

Looks great, JH.

Cooley is the kind of player that, even if he does leave in 4-5 years, you can pretty much always wear that jersy proudly. I'm counting on him not having any major outbursts as a Skin and always working hard. I feel that way about Stephen Davis, which is why I still love that jersy of mine.

That's a sweet jersey, but do our 7's really look like that?

Either way, it's a sweet jersey. I'm thinking about getting a Cooley or Marcus Washington jersey.

You got a good pick in Cooley but how much did that thing cost? I got myself an authentic Arrington jersey off of Ebay for 60 dollars including shipping... Also, did you get that thing customized? I'm wondering because the letters seem a little bit fatter than the actual ones on other replicas.

Justice - Not to jump on the Cooley bandwagon but I was going to get one of his at the draft party but they didn't have any. Great choice!

I agree on the authentic thing - it's tough to justify with FA!

It may be the custom made jersey's because Scott's Jansen jersey has the same 7 as Justice's Cooley jersey does. We checked.

lol, as Cooley shows up to the next camp with an earring in each ear, tatoos all over his body, on a motorcycle as he rides into the parking lot chugging a bottle of Jack Daniels, hits Joe Gibbs' car and then procedes to beat the tar out of a security guard.

I got the jersey here: NFLShop.com

It cost me $96.98 for the replica jersey...and it was custom made (they didn't have any Cooley jerseys already done.)

Very nice jersey JH , I agree with FanfromAnnapolis , Cooley is a safe pick. I have a Ramsey jersey myself. Figured I couldn't go wrong with that jersey.

And that would be "44", because after those antics, he would be fully qualified to wear it! and, he kind of looks like him, too.

By "custom jerseys", do you all mean "big man" sizes? I was thinking that somehow the NFL regulates "customized" jerseys for players whose authentics/replicas have yet to come out. I don't thinkCooley has one out yet, so the NFL shouldn't sell an "exact" replica of the on-the-field stuff, without the player getting royalties.

:?: OKay, I guess I'm overthinking this thing. BTW, was JF's "Jansen" jersey a custom replica or did he buy it off the rack?
