I'm ok with not going BUT you better cheer your butt off even if they are losing. Oh and one more condition. If you get my man, Gilbert's jersey, I want it! :-P

That game should be amazing on Friday! I predict another close game at the end, but I also expect EJ to have good rotations - who knows, the X-Factor in tomorrow's game might be Stevie!

Anyone else notice that Gil didn't throw his jersey out last night?

I think he's framing that one. Or, he might wear it every time they have an away game, leading to extreme dirtyness (i.e. like some of those baseball helmets). It is the miracle jersey now!

I would normally ask the same thing, but you would be suprised. Every away game this year (and also at home), Gil gave his jersey to someone in the crowd as he walked to the locker room. And every time, it looked like there were more than a few people asking for it. There's always someone that wants it; Bulls fan or not.

Congrats to the Wizards and their fans for the first Playoff series win in 20 or so years. The last two minutes were very exciting. And, good luck against Shaq and the Heat.

Got to see another wizard game and its another win

Thats 2-0 for the wizards this year on aussie tv

And it looks like we may get game 1 as well against the Heat

The energy was crazy at MCI. After the game, downtown DC was full of crazed fans and I was one of them. GO WIZARDS!!!! :celebrate:

I think that my favorite part about the current team is there isn't one stand out that wins it everynight. We've gone around the team as to who really had a great game. Eton has one, Juan has one..... It shows great depth on the team that it's not all about one guy. Awesome win.

Did any of you hear that Gilbert and Brenadan were practicing at the MCI the night before last with Kwame? Is it possible, the players like him and will make a play for his return next year? I'm really afraid he could come on when he's 26 and be a stud player. A 7 footer who can run is someone you give lots of chances...

Next year -- we need to find a guy like Oakley or Mahorn (sp?), or someone tough who would push a guy like Kwame... Would PJ Brown be a guy who could do this for us? He's in his 30's and NO would probably let him for a 2nd rounder or bench player...He's big, rebounds well and doesn't appear to need to score.

I hope you weren't referring to Charles Oakley, because he already had his chance with Kwame in 2002-2003.

I would agree with you, but we already have tough guys in Etan Thomas and Michael Ruffin. How many examples does Kwame need?

I meant a Charles Oakley type player...rebounds, intimidates and most importantly, doesn't feel the need to throw up 15 shots a game...10 pts off slop is good...

I just think some people mature sooner than others...Kwame is 23, maybe very sheltered growing up, you just don't know. He needed college very badly.

The fact Gilbert and Brendan were practicing with him makes me wonder...

I think Kwame had his time to prosper and florish into an amazing proffesional. Hes just not trying, hes not motivated, and that will screw him up in his life. He would be amazing if he put his mind in to it, i think that if he proves it to us somehow weel keep him otherwise i say trade him.

I wish Kwame had turned into the prodigy that I think we all hoped for. It sucks that its been this long and he hasn't emerged as a star. Maybe there is something to be said for that whole age restriction thing...he just needed to mature some more before coming into the NBA. I still think he's going to shine somewhere else though, which also sucks.

Man, last nights game was very exciting to watch.

All I can say is that Dwayne Wade dominated. That kid led his team so unbelievably well, even without Shaq. He also had alot of help from Mourning, Haslem, and Damon Jones.

We're gonna lose Game 4. The Heat are just too talented and dominating. They will win the NBA Championship.

I listened to the game on the radio, and some recaps early this morning.

We blew an 8-point lead????!!!!!!

Then, we were down by ONLY FOUR POINTS with ELEVEN minutes to go, and our "big three" (:roll: <-- for one night only) started shooting thress like there were only Eleven SECONDS remaining. That sealed our fate, as the Heat opened up an 11-point lead, which was two much to overcome.

Gilbert had a franchise record 14 assists for the night, but, all that matters is that, in crunch time, he opted NOT to pass, but shoot a three. Oy!!!

Well, last night, playoff inexperience reared its ugly head at MCI Center. I'll still be rootin' for 'em on Saturday night though. We can beat the HEAT!!!!!!

They also showed no hustle to get any rebounds what so ever (offense or defense). The 3 point shoots were killing me as well.

Actually, I believe the team has a medical condition that impedes them from rebounding. It may be allergies to the leather ball after making contact with the rim or something. It's plagued them throughout the playoffs so far, and last night, again, it cost them the game.

We're a year away from making a deeper run in the playoffs. Unfortunately, with Shaq in Miami, it'll be difficult to win the East with #32 in the middle. Of course, if his bruised thighs lead him to early retirement (wishful thinking, I know. :wink:

), we stand a better shot with our young talented group.

Hopefully, the presence of "The Redeemed One" will help them overcome the beatable (I disagree with Jake that they are "too" talented and dominating) Heat.
