Well i got interviewed (after several application attempts.. ) for a code compliance investagator postion. I just found out i got it and will start the 16th. It is a good pay increase along with way better work hours. Just wanted to share with my extended "familiy".
Congrats skinsfan! I work in Corrections to on the P & P side, are you in VA?? What institution were you at? And is your new job state or private sector?

I'm here in san antonio. It is a city detention center. When people first get arrested they have to go before a judge to be formally charged and given their bond amounts.
The new job is city as well. I'll be in charge of enforcing city codes and ordiances.

Before I was a prosecutor, I was a Probation/Parole Officer for 8 years. I was doing that job while going to law school at night.

Some of the codes are junk cars on public property, tall grass and trash in vacant lots, things that concern the health and well being of the community.
