Ms Pacman injured on debut...

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Ms Pacman injured on debut...

Post by Chris Luva Luva »

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 29, 2005) -- Adam 'Pacman' Jones was pulled from an afternoon workout when he experienced tightness in his lower body during the Tennessee Titans' rookie orientation.

Jones, a cornerback from West Virginia who was the first defensive player taken in the draft, left the practice field with a trainer approximately 25 minutes into the session. He returned 10 minutes later but did not participate in any drills.

Neither Jones nor head coach Jeff Fisher would confirm whether the problem was in the groin or a hamstring.

"(They) pulled me out of drills a little early so I sat back and watched for the most part," Jones said. "I'm all right."

Jones said he planned to participate in another workout. All but one of the Titans 11 draft picks and 36 rookie free agents were on hand for the start of the orientation, which began with a team meeting the day before.

Glad we passed on this one  .

White, Pac-man, and now Clayton! Wow....I kind of feel glad we didn't get these guys!!!

Ravens' first-round pick, WR Clayton, injured Click here to find out more!
NFL.com wire reports

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (April 30, 2005) -- Ravens rookie wide receiver Mark Clayton strained his left hamstring and was held out of practice, although the injury is not considered serious.

The first-round draft pick from Oklahoma was hurt running a pattern.

"I felt something and slowed down," said Clayton, who laughed while insisting he will ready for the season-opener against Indianapolis.

Clayton didn't drop any passes and made a strong impression during Baltimore's two-day rookie camp. The Sooners' all-time leading receiver is to start opposite Derrick Mason.

I am not happy with injuries on NFL players...

...maybe with the exception of TO.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Remember last year, Sean Taylor had some early knee problems.

Not to mention the "Pie in face" act performed by LaVar.

How exactly did the Redskins "pass on him" when he was gone almost an hour before you picked?

The most serious injury I've seen so far has been to the TE from Miami (his name escapes me right now) who the Bills drafted and really needed. Preliminary reports are he did a number on his knee.
This space reserved for BTP......If he ever wins it.

"Lower body tightness" is not necessarily an injury. Maybe he was too close to where the cheerleaders were warming up. :)

He was at the top of our draft board for CBs. Technically we didn't pass on him, but still its relevant that he wouldn't have been drafted had he been available.

Kevin Everett is the TE from Miami drafted by Buffalo. He tore his ACL and will be out for the entire year.

Jaguars | M. Jones Day-to-day - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 18 May 2005 00:30:44 -0700

Vito Stellino, reports for the Florida Times-Union, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie WR Matt Jones (hamstring) is being listed as day-to-day by head coach Jack Del Rio because of his hamstring injury. Jones was bothered with both groin and hamstring problems last year at Arkansas that limited his practice time, but he played in every game.

Seems you were "close" TC! hatsOFF now "reports" that this guy has a history of groin problems! Man, you are on top of all the news, as usual. :)
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
