I'm not so sure he was faking it. "Stomach Virus" was the acceptable way of saying he lacked guts to play in Game 4. So, he certainly was not faking. Hopefully, we can get some value in return.

Now, I'm not going to say the Wizards didn't blow their lead...because they did.
That said, for the third straight game in Chicago, it looked obvious that the refs were trying to hand the Bulls the game on a silver platter. I've stated the same thing after observing the first two games, but there were more blown/wrong calls made in this game than all four previous games.
And no, this is not biased. Somewhere down the line, I lost track; but I counted something like 3 to 4 blown calls (which benefited the 'Zards), and at least 12 to 13 which went Chicago's way. One example - why do the refs fall for Nocioni's way-over-the-top acting job on EVERY play?!
I think I fully understand now why the Bulls had "one of the best defenses" in the league this year. I didn't watch them too much at home during the regular season, but if they play how they've played in the last few games (at home), and the refs call the games the same way they have been recently, it would not be a difficult task at all to pad the team's defensive stats.
I want to be careful to not actually accuse the refs of fixing these games, but there have been many, many calls that could suggest otherwise. Just my...
ps. Normally, I would just be elated that the Wiz won that game. Normally, I would not care about bad officiating, after getting the win. Normally, I would not even comment on it. But normally, I would not need to.
