The Wiz suspended Brown for the rest of the year...what is that guy's story? Well, that pretty much seals the deal -- we won't re-sign him now. I know we'll re-sign Hughes and that's good. I sure do hate to give up on a 7 footer, that will probably come back to haunt us!

Perhaps we could trade him for the first pick in the draft - then the wiz could have Andrew Bogut playing - a true blue aussie kid with tons of ability

Basically, he was suspended for missing Game 4. He told the team he had a stomach virus, but it turns out that he faked it to protest his lack of playing time.

Since they won the game going away and didn't miss him, I say it backfired.

So long Quaim

Gotta love em, 2-2 in the series, if we win tonight man o man chicago is done for. Too bad kwame's too immature, he could have done well. but i think ramos will be beast in the future so no worries there.

let's do this!

I'm not so sure he was faking it. "Stomach Virus" was the acceptable way of saying he lacked guts to play in Game 4. So, he certainly was not faking. Hopefully, we can get some value in return.

Hmmmm, popcorn - tempting!

I just hope they win tonight so they can take the series at home on friday...

Hopefully they can put this Kwame thing behind them...

He will be a restricted free agent. Not sure how that works in the NBA, but if it means we get a first rounder, that would be good....assuming somebody will pay him the money he will be looking for and be willing to give up a first rounder.

Maybe we can do a sign and trade.

Not sure how the NBA works either, but if signing Kwame means a team loses its first round pick, this seems more likely?

How about we trade Kwame straight up to Detroit for Darko? A change of scenery can only help both of these players...

I just picked my tickets up for Friday's game at MCI Center. I overheard an usher/box office guy talking about Kwame so I asked him what the deal was. He said that he's not too sure but Kwame went in to meet Eddie Jordan and Ernie Grunfield and 15 minutes later he was being escorted out of the building by security. Thought that was pretty wild...

Also, I stopped by the Modells in MCI while in there and heard the store clerk tell a customer that Kwame gear was going on sale. She said it was possibly going to be buy one get one free for his gear.

Say bye bye Kwame. Thanks Michael Jordan for the crappy draft pick!

That was a beautiful finish. Although I'd much rather have kept the comfortable lead. A little excitement is good in life.

WOW! What a game!

Now, I'm not going to say the Wizards didn't blow their lead...because they did.

That said, for the third straight game in Chicago, it looked obvious that the refs were trying to hand the Bulls the game on a silver platter. I've stated the same thing after observing the first two games, but there were more blown/wrong calls made in this game than all four previous games.

And no, this is not biased. Somewhere down the line, I lost track; but I counted something like 3 to 4 blown calls (which benefited the 'Zards), and at least 12 to 13 which went Chicago's way. One example - why do the refs fall for Nocioni's way-over-the-top acting job on EVERY play?!

I think I fully understand now why the Bulls had "one of the best defenses" in the league this year. I didn't watch them too much at home during the regular season, but if they play how they've played in the last few games (at home), and the refs call the games the same way they have been recently, it would not be a difficult task at all to pad the team's defensive stats.

I want to be careful to not actually accuse the refs of fixing these games, but there have been many, many calls that could suggest otherwise. Just my My 2 cents ...

ps. Normally, I would just be elated that the Wiz won that game. Normally, I would not care about bad officiating, after getting the win. Normally, I would not even comment on it. But normally, I would not need to.

There definitley were some questionable (at best) calls in that game last night. That ending was incredible though. I couldn't fall asleep after it...

Niki - I'll prop open the back door to MCI and get you in!! :-) I wish I could bring everyone...!!!!!!!
