New guy... my brother and cousin are Skins

Sup guys, I just joined here cause my brother and cousin are new Redskins. Thought I might come on in and see what bein a Skin is all about. Hey, maybe i'll be the Redskins' 1st rounder in 6 or 7 years... :wink:

Hey, welcome aboard!

I assume that means either Robert McCune or Tiger Jones is your brother! That's fantastic. We're thrilled to have both of them in camp. I think McCune has a bright future and has a great shot at being the starting MLB. Tiger will have a harder time making the team since we've got too many receivers anyway, but there's always room on special teams for a high energy guy.

Somebody tell Gibbs and Co not to trade away our 2011 and 2012 first rounders yet...

Tiger's my brother and Hammer (McCune) is my cousin... I hope Tiger makes it but its gonna be hard. Not worried about Hammer... he's gonna make people sorry they didnt take him. They're both real excited about the chance to play in the NFL.

RB or QB... played RB my freshman year and this year... Im goin to a new high school now and theyre putting me at QB to replace their quick QB thats going to Troy (Julian Foster). Look me up.. Phelon Jones is my name.

Maybe so... my real dream is QB for the Saints but hey one step at a time... gotta get me a football ring this year or next year... Im about to get a track ring, headed to state... then we'll talk about college and then if i'm lucky enough, the NFL.

Man your lucky, your team gets somewhere. I play for Mclean High School. MLB and FB, and our record was 5-5. better than last years 1-9. but this year we got a new coach, it is a pretty good improvement. My life dream and goal is to be in Redskins uniform. A lot of ppl tell me i have tallent conisdering it is my second year playing the game and i played varsity MLB and FB

Welcome to the board. Too bad that Tiger was cut, all the things I heard about him from the weekend were good. I read somewhere that he burned Carlos Rodgers on the first day of camp and he only gave up 18 receptions all year! I hope you'll still stick around these boards to keep up with McCune and I hope that your bro gets signed by another team soon!

hkhog - Tiger told me he should be in camp with the Skins... Thats just what I heard from him... It doesn't make sense to me and maybe he just doesnt wanna feel like an ass getting cut during mini camp but thats what hes tellin us.. So for now I still consider him a redskin...

washington53 - my school last year and the 1st half of this year (St Pauls) is a 5A school that went 5-4 last year. I rushed for 760 yds as a sophomore. The school Im going to now (McGill-Toolen) is a 6A school that went 6-4 last year and lost by 1 point in the 2nd round of the state playoffs in their 1st year under a new coach. The coach has been to 2 state championships, won 1, and has coached impressive players like Terell Owens. Im going to be the starting QB as a junior on a team full of potential and with big hopes.

40 - 4.44 (fastest)

Ive been competing in high school track since 7th grade. St Pauls is a grade school and a high school so I got to compete with the high schoolers. So Im very fast and athletic. I have good jumping abilty (Did a 6'4" high jump at sectionals last Friday).

"Hammer" seems like a real mellow and humble guy off the field but on the field he looks like, well... a hammer.
