OK - Newbie speaks!
Hi folks.
I'm a Skins fan all the way from "Scotchland"! Took the guys on from the very first Superbowl shown in the UK (the 1984 game which we may not care to mention).
I think this year we can make the playoffs. I know you guys see more than I do (we get 2 or 3 games a week tops), but I don't see why not.
When Clinton runs 100, the Skins win. We have the NFL's #2 D - Pierce and Smoot are losses, but we had the #2 D without LA for most of the season...........
Flame me if you like, but what do I know - I think the playoffs are good to go.
Cheers!

Welcome aboard, IJ. I'm with you on the playoffs, the changes that the Skins have made in how they handle the offseason have given me hope. The draft was hard to take, but I'm coming around to Joe's ultimate plan.
Edinburgh, eh? That's a very nice city. . .
p.s. you'd be surprised at how many Skins fans from the UK are regulars around the board.

welcome
I want to agree with you about the playoffs, and after considering most of the off season moves, I like them, but every year I say "this is the year we turn it around." I've had my hopes dashed so so many times. Being a younger guy, the first football game i can remember watching was the last superbowl we won. Its been rough ever sonce. Not knowing the glory days of Gibbs, and have had my hopes crushed so many times, I just can't agree with you. I want to, but can't.

Just because you've drank enough scotch to make it in your "blood" doesn't make you a "Scotch American"!

Welcome to the board IJ! Have you had a chance to catch a live NFL Europe game? See you around the Hogs.net

Was a regular at the Claymores games before they moved to Glasgow and were eventually wound up. The crowds used to rival the crowds of Edinburgh's 2 football (soccer!) teams, what more did NFL Europe want?!!!
Still, I'll always remember being at the World Bowl - whatever happened to Siran Stacy?!

If men can run the world, why can't they stop wearing neckties? How intelligent is it to start the day by tying a little noose around your neck?
Welcome to THN. We hope you enjoy the site. Take a look around, there's lots to see. The quick launch at the top of the message boards will take you to various different sections of the site where you can find out anything you need to know about your Washington Redskins (hopefully).
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
