I feel bad for Ramsey

Post by SkinsLaVar »

Gibbs tells Ram Z he's the starter in '05 and he'll probably pluck him out and put Campbel mm mm good in.
It just sucks for Patrick man...poor guy :)

Why feel bad for Ramsey? If I was Ramsey, and a Hall of Fame coach has just informed me that I'm the starting QB for his team, I'm certainly not gonna feel bad for myself. In fact, I'm gonna really be looking forward to getting this season under way.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

Only if Ramsey sucks or we start of like 0-5.

If Ramsey earns it, he will rightfully play. Just hopefully if he does stink it up, Gibbs won't wait until 1/2 way through the season to make a change.

I feel bad for us skins fans if Ramsey sucks it up, because then we will have to endure Brunell for the rest of the season...

Ramsey's going to be the number one QB.

I just hope Campbell will be the number two!

No need to feel bad for Ramsey. He's young, rich, and next year will star for a team that appreciates him. I feel sorry for myself. Being loyal to the Skins, I have to watch the offense as well as the defense this year and next.

Ramsey will have a decent season, especially if our running game gets going.
He cant do much worse then Brunnel.

Well lets hope that Campbell isn't #2 I would hate to see a rookie have to lead a loosing team if we are already 0-5 I would rather see the season tank behind brunell then destroy a rookie by having him go out unprepared.

I don't feel sorry for Ramsey at all!

He's our #1 QB. It's his job to lose. He is the one that controls his own destiny in that regard. We all should be so lucky.

The question is...Who will Gibbs put in as our #2 QB?

Not Brunell...that's for sure

He'll either put in Tim Hasselbeck or Jason Campbell...I personally hope Campbell is our #2 guy this season. I know he's a rookie, but when will he ever have a chance to learn how to play QB in the NFL if he doesn't get a chance to play first hand?? That's my opinion...

I guess the competition for the #2 spot will take place in the offseason.....but until Gibbs decides who the #2 guy is...I wish Ramsey a great year as the starter.

I do too. I feel sorry for YOU, that is.

There is a towel being passed around in another thread with Skins cheerleaders if you wish to dry your tears.

Come on man, snap out of it. A positive attitude is a winning attitude. This team can use the support of its fans. Patrick is a much better person/player than you give him credit for.

Is there a TeVo machine that can be set to turn off the TV when Brunell comes on?

Perhaps a good thread to start would be one that involved the exploration of all possible actions members would take if* brunell gets some regular season snaps.

*I write "if" because I pray to Holy whomever that brunell isn't the number 2 and that patrick doesn't get hurt.

For me, I would go for the beer can at-the-tv move: safe, effective, minimal damage to me and my environment.

He has had ample opportunity to "truly" win the qb job outright. I don't feel sorry for him or any other particular player for that matter. I feel sorry for our win/loss record the past.........14 years.
