you know, the first thing i thought when i saw the headline about boldin sitting out because of contract demands was "i wonder if he has drew rosenhaus as his agent."
it seems clear that this guy is making a concerted attempt to sabotage the standard and proper way of doing business in the NFL. he should be barred by the league- i can't believe they are putting up with it and letting him screw everything up.
when you have a contract, you have to abide by it. you SIGNED it, you agreed to it. if you want more money, you have to play your best and wait until your current contract is up and THEN demand more.

they can't! they can ASK a player to take less, or be released. now you may ask "why does the team have the power to terminate the contract but not the player?". and the answer is because that is what the rules allow for under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. those are the RULES of the NFL- important rules that keep free agency (and thus the league in general) from plunging into complete chaos.
if players don't like the rules of employment in the NFL, they should feel free to seek another profession.

Drew Rosenhaus... 
I don't even care about Boldin. But it's agents like Rosenhaus that perpetuate the "all-business" mentality of this sport. If the players stop enjoying the game, the fans will too. I used to dislike certain players for holding out, or whatever; but I think it is clear as mud now that it's not their fault.
Why is it that every time I read an article about an unhappy player, there are only two or three agents' names that are brought up (Rosencrap, Sexton, etc.)?
I wouldn't mind reading about a happy players' agent, for once.
