To all of you Redskins fans.

There´s a guy I know who works at Redskins Park, talking to him yesterday I asked him what was the purpose of drafting a QB in the first round, especially since we have other needs, he told me Gibbs like to push QB`s to be at their best, he says Gibbs like Ramsey and that everyone at Redskins Park is cheering for Ramsey to become the franchise QB, he just has to show it.

I asked him if he can give me Ramsey`s e-mail, he told me to write him (the guy I know) and he will give the e-mail personally to Ramsey if not he will put it in his mailbox, I`m sure I will write him and show THE RAM all the support and how we believe in him. If someone on this board wants to write something in support and how you beleive in Ramsey write him in this post and I will copy it and paste it and then I will send all the writings to my friend in Redskins Park, I know there`s a big chance Ramsey will read our writings or e-mails, you can finish with writing your name and where you`re from that`s just if you want.
I work at Wilson Sports here in Mexico in the Marketing Department, I`ve had many meetings with the NFL Mexico and a few with the real NFL that`s why I know this guy from Redskins Park and that`s why I`m sure he`ll do me this favor, especially since he knows how hard a redskins fan I am.

Patrick,

The draft this year certainly had a few of us scratching our heads, but in no way has it deterred us from supporting our team quarterback. Speaking for my friends and family, we have supported you from the beginning, and will continue to do so throughout your career. This year will be a testament to your skills, and we all have faith that you will take this team deep into the postseason! Undoubtedly, you will show the coaches, players, and fans why you have finally earned your position at the top. You definately have the skills to be a top quarterback in this league, and going into the season as the starter should allow you to control our postseason destiny this year, and in the future. We wish you good luck, and don't forget to have fun!

Ramsey I am really dissapionted that we didn't draft Mike Williams or any other reciever to help you out. You have a strong arm and a good work ethic. You will be good. I am not going to lie, I think your future is some were else. I wish the best of luck to you if you leave. Good luck this year I am routing for you.

OMG PLEASE do NOT include John's in there. The last thing Ramsey needs to hear is whining about the draft, he has his own issues. And he most certainly doesn't need a Redskin's fan talking about him going somewhere else! I will post my message to him later. When I'm not at work and can put some thought into it.

Patrick,
don't look at it as a job, just go out there and have fun. The wins will follow.

Patrick,
You are assuming the leadership role around our team, among that comes great responsibility. I am really glad that you are our starting QB, i dont think Brunell, Hasselbeck, and Campbell can replace you. Just go out there and dont thin of anything except Moss, Patten,Cooley, Jacobs,Trash and our O-line, and let your cannon rip those passes right into their hands. You deserve to be our Franchise QB,and make a legend out of #11. GO RAMSEY

Hey, Pat...

In my generally worthless opinion, Joe has brought a young guy in for you to mentor. For some guys at your position, it brings your game up a notch if you know that a younger guy is watching your every move, learning the game at the Pro level. Wouldn't want to disappoint the student, you know ?
At any rate, we're counting on you. The support for you is strong, but not bulletproof. We need more than flashes of brilliance. We need for you to take your own game to the next level. Hopefully, the return of your old hunting buddy goes a long way towards that end.
We're becoming a little jaded, as a fan base, to the word "potential". We think you have it. We've seen snippets of it.
C'mon, man. Let's get busy. If nothing else...beat Dallas.
I could live with a 2-14 record...:)

Hey Pat,

Your wife is kinda cute. If you leave the Redskins, and your wife stays behind, can I get her phone number?

Dear Patty Cakes,

What is your favorite color? Mine is red. I also like apples. My mommy says apples make your my feet smell better. Do you like apples? I saw you on the news last night. Mommy let's me watch the news, because she says the bad things on there will scare me to be a good boy. Do you like sausage? I like sausage with eggs and toast. It's my favorite. Ok, it's bed time. I will see you at train camp. Choo! Choo!

Bye-Bye from me,
BringThePain!

PS - I like you.

Hey, Patrick - 'sup?
You can be a success in this league because you've got a strong arm...you can be even better if you:
1) stop throwing 2-yard passes when it's 3rd and 6
2) watch Campbell and his footwork at minicamp - stop with the happy feet and learn to move up in the pocket to buy some more time
3) learn the system - you stood on the sidelines for 9 weeks and still looked lost when you finally got in the games
4) stop locking onto the primary receiver - that telegraphs where you are trying to throw the ball
5) look for a secondary receiver (he will be up-field) if the primary receiver is covered - that will help with item #1
6) stop patting the ball as you wait and wait to throw - that may have worked at Tulane, but it doesn't work here in Washington or at Auburn
7) don't have your feelings hurt because of Campbell - you are supposed to be a tough guy, right?
8) get meaner and play with some intensity
9) don't assume the starter's job is yours, no matter who says it - you better work your arse off, fight off the challengers, and then produce
Sincerely,
Sonny, Billy, Joey T, Doug, Rip, and Babe (Laufenberg)

hope im not too late:

Patrick,

I remember watching you against the Titans a few years ago, and you lit them up, as everyone knows. That day I said to myself, "that kid has skills, and he has a great future here in Washington if he can keep his head on straight." You're still the same ball player, but i feel you think too much when you're out there. You KNOW this offense, you KNOW how to play the position, so stop thinking about it and just do it. It's like golf--if you think about your shots too much, they end up not where you want them, but in the worst possible place. Remember, this is a game, you just happen to play it for a living. You were a first round pick for a reason, the organization saw something in you that gave them hope of brilliance. I see that brilliance in you, as I am sure many people do. Don't mask what is there by clouded decisions; You are a great player, Patrick, show us all what you showed us against Tennessee, show us more of the flashes of greatness that you have in the past, and show the rest of the NFL and especially the media why Coach Gibbs put faith in you and named you the starter. I wear your jersey every game day, and i hope I can continue to do so for years to come. Good luck, and remember, winners never quit and quitters never win: BE A WINNER.

Hey Patrick,

Just wanted to let you know, I know you have that something special. Once it clicks in your head, I think your going to be one of the best QBs in the league. I certainly hope it is with the Redskins as that's my favortie team ;-)

Tear it up this year bud, it's your year!!!

here's an idea for all you guys trying to give ramsey advice on how to play and what you expect out of him or what's wrong with him:

maybe we should leave that to the Hall of Fame coaching staff he has around him, huh?

you know, the guys who make $$$$$$ a year to be professional football coaches.

maybe the most helpful thing for him to hear from us would be what the point of the thread was in the first place- support. encouragement. letting him know he has fans standing behind him, believing in his ability.

If God's blessing could have helped then Brunnell wouldn't have tanked last year.
