I suggested a possible trade for earlier for him. I'd like it at the right price if he was released.

Where did we get this crazy idea that Detroit would just release Charlie Rogers???

it's not ridiculous that they trade rodgers.... I doubt they can certainly afford to keep 3 #1 pick WR's.... on top of paying a #1 QB & a #1 RB.... especially since their Defense is awful...

but as for him being a redskin... I doubt it... Detroit would probably request alot in a trade... and we don't got it, can't afford to give it up, nor can afford it in the wallet...

I would love for this to happen. Charles Rogers has a huge upside and unlimited potential. His injuries defintely concern me but if we could get him to restructure his deal and not have to give up too much in a trade for him I would love to get him. I am a student at Michigan State and I saw him play here. He is super good. Very athletic, fast, and has great hands. Not to mentioned he would make insanely ridiculous catches over double teams. (Notre Dame Game) The only knock is that sometimes he would give up on his routes.

It defintely is not out of the question that Rogers will be let go by the Lions. They Have Roy Williams and Mike Williams their top 2 guys. Then also signed Kevin Johnson this offseason and they still have the way overpaid WR AZ Hakim!

Az-Hakim is about to catch the axe...especially before Rogers.

I don't think it is ridiculous they would trade him, but guys, the writing is on the wall that Gibbs is satisfied with our recievers.

He loves Taylor Jacobs, Patten is not going to be a benchwarmer, and Moss will be signed. We could trade Moss for Rogers, but why? Rogers has yet to play 2 quarters of football without his colarbone shattering under his pads.

I went to Michigan State and played with Charles Rogers and I am positive that this guy does not have the personality that Gibbs wants. He is lazy and stuck on himself. He could definitely grow into the next Coles.

Is there even an ounce of truth to this rumor? like was it reported in any magazine or newspaper or is this all purely speculation?

How about if we keep Gardner and pick up Az-Hakim !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we could have a really fast guy and a slower guy who drops alot of passes.
I'm looking for some consistancy on this team guys.

Are you guys nuts? We ought to be praying that there's the slightest chance we can get Rogers. You're talking about the price being right, his fragile collar bone, his attitude, he's lazy. We're beggars at this point, gentleman, not choosers. We're in a huge jam. Rogers has more talent than Williams. We should live so long as to have a shot at him.

Az-Hakim DID catch the axe. Maybe we should bring him in for a looksie?
