2nd fullback selected
The SECOND fullback of our draft was chosen, Nehemiah Broughton. If anyone can clarify us choosing two fullbacks in one draft, please do so. Are the rumors of the other guy playing TE true?

let me tell you something, Nehemiah Broughton is an ANIMAL. This guy was definitely one of the best players available in my opinion and should definitely be our goal line back. I'd like to see Manuel convert to TE. Broughton is probably about 250 pounds of all muscle, and runs in the 4.5 range which is unbelievable. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually becomes our starting back if we ever have to let Clinton Portis go for whatever reason

from what ESPN has on the guy, it looks like he may be the big short yardage RB the skins have needed http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/dra ... fid%3d8823

We filled most needs in FA going into the offseason our needs were: WR, C, and DE, possible short yardage back. We signed Patten acquired Moss and signed Casey Rabach (best pick up of the off season) we lost Smoot so we drafted Rogers to fill a need and we got an elite CB with that pick. We drafted two short yardage guys one who can be converted to TE. So our main need now is a pass rushing DE, and that will be taken care of after June 1st
Go Skins it's what I've been saying all my life

Have we all forogtten about special teams? That is the first way these guys will prove themselves in this league, and Gibbs has expressed a commitment to special teams for the offseason.
Broughton is a beast, and he is another military trained guy, which means hard working, disciplined, tough physically and mentally.
I am elated with them playing for us. The days of Gerald Riggs may be soon on the horizon.

Therefore... we filled a need at cornerback.
We filled needs with SIZE at fullback and DEPTH at linebacker.
NEEDS don't always translate into starters, to which you're clarifying.
