Ever occur to anyone that you just subjected yourself to mailbox after mailbox full of junk mail?

Why do ou think it's free?

And from a site that has nothing but a temp page up apparently, because there ain't nothing at www.magscentral.com

My 2 cents
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

No, Boss...you're wrong on this one. I wouldn't have posted it if wasn't totally legit and on board. Like I said initially, I signed up under a nickname and I've gotten...maybe...2 or 3 pieces of junk mail under that name since.

The reason it's free is that magazines lose BIG money when they're subscriptions drop below a certain level. They are audited annually to make sure they aren't ripping off advertisers by inflating subscription numbers. When the numbers dip off, they contract with these companies to get them subscriptions...and quickly. As you can see, the link is dead already...I told you that you had to be quick. I'll try to find another one.

Again...I wouldn't have posted something that would have just brought me hardship. I thought you guys might enjoy a couple of free years to the Sporting News...I know I enjoy it.

Also...I've said this before...but when your subscriptions start showing up...post back here so that everyone will know...

new link is up. I updated the original post to show that the original link is dead and to use this link. Gotta get in quick, because they go fast. Then again...they'll be another link in a week or two. enjoy everyone.

I got mine Friday as well. Too bad it was damaged in the mailing process. Thankfully it was a baseball cover.

All of my covers have been damaged, though. Pretty bad, too. That's my main downside to this whole deal. I've still gotten them all, though.

Well...I missed out on the offer(s). I'm hoping they offer it again...but not sure where to look if/when they do.

Received my second issue today and the cover was also messed up and detached. What's up with that? Are they sending us their damaged product?

It isn't our maillady's fault. They have stickers that say they arrived damaged. Although I heard she is a drunk. :?

But it is a good magazine, and like my mom always says "It's on the inside that counts"...
