Anyone else make it to Draft Day?
Scott, Jackson, and I had a great time. Jackson loved running on the field and playing football. They had a set up where you could attempt a field goal. Scott was oh so close, missed it by a hair. Jackson's attempt was cute. He wanted to remain on the field the entire time but we went up and checked out the club level. We managed to watch part of the radio coverage with the Sports Junkies. And Terri I'm sorry to say you missed Darnerian singing, twice!! And Randy Thomas is quite the character. He was cracking jokes and sang a little bit as well. Darnerian promised there'd be no reason for excuses this year. He said he was giving them even one, not to play him.
ey and John Hall were also there, though they both looked like they need haircuts. One of my favortie parts of the day was when Rock Cartwright was asked how he thought we'd do against the Cowboys this year. He said "I cannot say it how I really want to say it, I'll just say we're gonna sweep 'em" Oh and we watched Joe Gibbs address the crowd. We got a pretty good seat for it and should have gotten some decent pictures. We also toured the locker room, which was very exciting for Jackson. While we were walking down the tunnell he just kept saying "Oh my goodness mom, oh my goodness!". He didn't like that we couldn't get right to Ramsey's locker. LOL All and all it's something we'll do again next year and probably every year they do it. Even if it's only for the playing on the field part. One more thing was that we got to meet Donnie Warren, Rod McDole, Roy Jefferson, and Pat Fischer. All very great and gracious guys. The one thing I noticed was they got very fed up with the adults asking them to sign anything Redskins. We saw a kid having the alumni's sign his Smoot jersey that he had just purchased down stairs for 10 bucks. Nuts. Completely!

Whenever I start to get blue, I just breathe!
My favortie line from the Simpsons:
Flanders: "Looks like someone is having a pre-rapture party!"
Homer: "No Flanders, it's a meeting of gay witches for abortion , you wouldn't be interested!"

Hey, I went to the draft party also. Got there around 11:30 and left at like 5pm. It was great!! The first time I had ever gone. BTW, I ended up taking the metro, catching a bus, and walking a little to the stadium. First, I went around the whole stadium on the inside. (Saw the new Hooters....
) Then, went out onto the field and listened to JGibbs address the crowd. I had a great view of the stage, got to take some awesome shots of JGibbs, GWilliams, and JBugel. Then, I ended up playing some football with some of the guys on the field, which was great! Then, got a tour of the locker room. I took some pictures with the trophies and cheerleaders too.
Overall I had a great time. I didn't get there early enough to meet
ey, Hall, or McCants. That's a bummer....I wanted to get
ey's autograph because I don't have one of his yet. But I managed to chat with RThomas a little and take a picture with him. The only disappointing part of the trip was that I had planned to go to the Tent Sale but when I got there around 5pm, they told me they were closed. That pissed me off because I heard that they had some really cheap things in there. I wanted to get some thing but was not able too.
One other thing that sucked was the fact that the TVs stopped working RIGHT before we picked JCambell. That pissed me off, I ended up calling up one of my friends and finding out from him.
Once I got back home, I realized that I had taken about 150 pictures on my digital camera!!!
Other than that, I had a great time. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. Thanks for all the information you guys gave, it really helped out. Hopefully I'll see some of you next year!

"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."
I'm glad you guys had a good time, Niki. It sounded like an interesing day.
I'm also glad to read that bit of info on Darnerien.
