I fixed it... you butchered it...
Now on to the topic:
I don't think we need a splash to make the fans or anybody else happy.... I just think we need to get value... and we'll only know that 3 years from now...

Oopsies! What's that taste like?

Thanks RR56 (and BTP!) - I mentioned before that I rely on the Hogs.net for my news now because so much of it is so biased. I must now admit that not all the print media are idiots and Paul has shown some skills over the years.
This is a fair article, although I am a fan and I am not unhappy! I think there are a lot of fans who are, but this is only because they are either determined things will never be right again or they believe what the media is "reporting" to them.
Paul at least is willing to wait and see what the FO does this w/e before he passes judgement which is a change from those media and some fans who want justice now because these guys just do not know what they are doing.
I think Joe has an idea about this weekend and it will be interesting to see if this plays out the way he wants it to.
I must admit I thought we were going to take a CB and then possibly "Heat" Miller but I'm not so sure now that we wont go WR first as there are a lot of "decent" DBs in this draft.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Their fans are unhappy, period, not necessarily with Joe Gibbs but with the state of the Redskins, who underperformed last season and are involved in a most bizarre offseason that now includes an exchange of picks with the Broncos that has cost them their 2006 first-round pick.
What?
I agree SkinsJock; I am not unhappy!
Sure, frustration sets in sometimes, but as I've said many times before, it always gets turned around at some point. I will forever be happy that we have a great environment in this city for sports, and regardless of whether the skins win or lose, the entertainment that they provide is worth all the money, time, and energy that I have ever spent on the team. I love Gibbs and the Redskins - but the plain fact that football is so much fun, paired with the fact that we have a great team to support (good or bad; but you can't argue with our history) just makes life that much better.

For the first offseason under owner Dan Snyder, the Redskins have refused to overpay to maintain roster stability.
I got two problems with this stupid statement. First of
all, during Marty's one-year reign we didn't overpay
to bring in any free agent. Secondly, in every other year
where we did overpaid, we did it for instability --- not to
maintain stability.
