Does anyone else agree that the Redskins "drought" is simply a fact of nature? - especially in this town -
If I may point to a sidebar here:
How long has it been since the Bulle...Wizards have fared well in the playoffs? A LONG time! While they are not (although I am always hopeful for the home team) going to win the NBA finals, the team has been VERY exciting this year!
How about the O's? - Sorry Nats fans, I'm still working towards becoming a fan, but it's hard, as I have grown up with the O's. It's still extremely early in the season, but we swept the Yanks last week!
Anyway, my point is that the nature of all sports is cyclical. This is why we love the skins regardless of anything. Laughing stock? Bring it! It could be two years from now, or 20 - but the Skins will prevail once again, and I will relish it when it happens. True satisfaction only comes after suffering...something we have dealt with long enough around this city...and you know what? I won't even bother stuffing it in others' faces - I won't need to - because I will be too busy celebrating with all my fellow fans.

But any way - The Redskins are a laughing stock to most fans around the league and it is because of two people in your organization - you already know who they are - 1. Snyder and 2.Cerrato. People think that your team is a complete joke and quite frankly I am embarassed FOR Joe Gibbs. You have the highest payroll in the league yet your front office couldnt run a fever. Yes you are the laughing stock of the league. Bringing in Shottenhiemer then firing him? What the heck? Bringing in Spurrier?????? The Redskins will never return to glory as long as Snyder and Cerrato are in the organization. Sorry Dudes - mean this with much respect and no hard feelings. Good luck this year you'll need it.
No hard feelings ? "Laughingstock" ? "Complete joke" ? "Couldn't run a fever" ?
...and you mean all this with much respect, huh ?

It's real good to hear from the "rest of the league". Nice to finally meet you. Had no idea you all were one guy.
Seems to me yinz have plenty to worry about with your own team. Want to go into it ? I don't. Know why ? It's a Redskins site. Not a Pittsburgh site, or a "rest of the league" site.
Wipe your feet before you walk in.
"Sit back and watch the Redskins.

I have the answer to what is wrong with the Redskins!!!!-------and the answer is nothing. The skins have did nothing wrong so far in 2005.The team can't control every player and the greed or help it if players get hurt.Until the 2005 season starts, right now im cool with what gibbs has done.
RG3....Super Man....check out my socks!!!

I'd gladly swap our attendance record for Pittsburgh's W-L record any day of the week. At least the Steelers have been to the playoffs sometime this decade. Unfortunately, the Redskins have not. Let's hope Gibbs can correct that.
