I remember breathin heavy as they were preparing to announce the pick. Most of us thought that Taylor would be the pick but we didn't really have any idea.
After Tagliabue announced.."with the #5 pick in the NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select..." is when the entire world, outside of the war room knew who we were pickin'. Expect the same this year, IMO.
....and then later that day Kellen Winslow threw a tantrum, "But Joe Gibbs told ME that they were going to pick ME with the 5th pick, I'll show them!!!....but, I still want #5 money".

Actually he wanted number one money, because the Jets said they would have selected him if they had the first round pick. At least thats how I remember it.
Yeah and I can also remember a certain slightly obese ESPN writer swearing up and down for days that Winslow was going to Redskins. He has "inside sources" that said Gibbs loved Winslow. Whatever happened to that reporter? Oh yeah, he's the one saying we've given up on Ramsey because we're going to draft Campbell at #25.
