Man if Redeemedskin still beleives in brunell, then Majic Johnson and Micheal Jordan might come back and play.

sorry redeemed. Mark may be a devout christian, but that won't make him be able to throw the football again. His arm is gone, and with that, so is his starting career. He's a good mentor to Ramsey, and that all he is until we can cut him.

Ramsey is also a devout christian, so you may wanna try rooting for him too.

You may not like Brunell. But, there's no way Gibbs is going to enter the season without a veteran QB on the squad. Like it or not, Gibbs thinks Brunell is that man for that position. So, a trade involving him will not happen unless we get a veteran signal-caller in return.

I pray that you didn't pray for that to happen.

Good, I thought it was just me that felt that was the weirdest thing I've read on this forum in a long time. Lets hope for Shuler to come back to while we're at it.

So, now both Jake and Chris DON'T want us to go to the playoffs?????? :hmm:

Un-freakin-believable.

Apparently you didn't tune in to the Hasselbeck vs. Cowboys debacle two seasons ago.

'Twas one of the most memorable games in Redskins history.

Here's a recap:

Redeemed: As I said in another post, that game came in the dying days of the "Spurrier experiment".

The team was absolutely desintegrated and the Ol' ball coach pretty much had lost the season by then.

I don't consider that game (that I DID watch, by the way) a good measuring stick for Hasselbeck.

That Cowboys game was lost because of poor coaching.

Brunnell is hurrtiiiing! But seriously you have to have a good Vet QB on the squad....But the price tag they paid was ridiculous. And I dont think we would be clowning him so much if he didnt get paid so much.
"It's almost like, you play a kid's game for a king's ransom," he said. "And if you don't take it serious enough, eventually one day you're going to say, 'Oh, I could have done this, I could have done that."

If he can't lead us through 8 games, he will NEVER lead us to the playoffs.

The "Gibbs opened up the offense late" is a cop-out. He used it the last few games Brunny was in there and he still stunk it up.

how much of brunell's performance was his problem last year?

Post by learnnew »

So there's the talk of jon jansen's injury and OL troubles, lack of a credible passing game, overall slappy offensive play, and Brunell's perceived (hey, i'm being nice to him here!) lack of arm strength as explanations for 'the worst performance in 20 years of football watching'. (read clinton portis' comments)

if brunell lost all his ability to ever play professional football, i wonder if he lost it suddenly before 2003 season or suddenly before 2004 season or did he lose his ability gradually and visibly. what kind of offense was in place during the time brunell was in charge?

does brunell deserve another chance at playing at all? in other words, is it time to shop for a new backup qb?

do you think with bill musgrave as the qb coach, brunell might have another chance? or is this all an elaborate ploy to make him give up his fat contract and make him a coach? is there a precedent for this?
