Five Predictions
Five Predictions
1. Moss will never be the answer we are looking for. He doesn’t get his long-term contract but settles for a lucrative one year deal. He underperforms and leaves as a free agent the following season.
2. We don’t give in to Taylor’s contract demands, he holds out a large part of training camp, coming back at the tail end low on the depth cart. He doesn’t start until week 2 and has another monster year.
3. Arrington’s injury is lingering and he starts week one but misses most of training camp. He has a solid yet unspectacular season.
4. The offensive line gels to be one of the most dominant in the league. Portis puts up spectacular numbers.
5. Ramsey has a great year. Everything comes together for him. Mostly on his arm we earn a wild card trip to the playoffs. But as we are driving down by 4 with 1:30 minutes remaining he throws a crucial interception trying to force the ball in coverage.
Overall I see great offensive improvement and a moderate defensive stepback. I believe that the improvement in offensive will more than offset the deterioring defense though. I believe in Ramsey but I feel that he can be a bit like Favre in he’ll either win the game for you or lose it trying to force plays.

My five Predictions:
1. Ramsey has a good year....over 2500 yds with 17-21 TDs
2. Portis will rush for over 1500 yds and more than 4 TDs
3. Our Leading Receiver will BE......David Patten.....yes mark it down!
4. Arrington will come back, but will not produce like he should
5. We will finally beat those Damn Cowboys!!!! and go to the playoffs as a 9-7 team...

Good post....all sound reasonable to me.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

I agree that Patten will be our most productive WR this year.
I also have a feeling that we're gonna see McCants get a lot of opportunities this year...and not be "inactive" at all.

I def think Patten will be strong for us. Portis is gonna break out, with Jansen back and center position covered. Ramsey will be steady and thats all we will need.
What the hell is wrong with Lavar? Im sick of his constant bickering. I mean I love the guy to death, but its already proven that he is dispensible.

1. Ramsey will have a good, probaly Pro Bowl Year. Between 20-23 TD's, 10 INTS. Over 2,500 yards.
2. Moss will be a playmaker, but not score many TD's, David Patten will catch all the important passes, giving him a 10 TD year. Moss will have around 5-6.
3. Taylor Jacobs and DMac will get shots, as we will be using 4 and 5 WR sets more often. Jacobs will finish with 4-6 TD's, DMac with around the same, both for 500-700 yards.
4. James Thrash will return punts, A Brown will do kicks beside Morton. James Thrash will be ST gold and still contribute with 3 TD's.
5. Portis will rush for almost 1,800 yards behind a newly revamped line.
6. We'll finish 11-5, or 10-6.
7. We'll make it to the championship game but mistakes will lose us this game.
8. The Superbowl will be alot closer after this year.
9. I will have seen a Redskins Superbowl (live) before I'm 20.
Ok that's nine. But I think its a fair estimate.

1. Moss, Patten, McCants, Thrash,
ey and Royal will work together to get the offense going. Ramsey will have a breakout year.
2. Portis is going to run like a wild horse, with a much-improved O-line.
3. Defense will still be up there even though we lost Pierce. LaVar will be back (if he stops PMS-ing...Lavar, u wan't a cookie? Will stop crying if I give u a cookie?), but anyway, he'll sack the crap outa offenders along with Marshall and Clemons and all the other no-names that are going to do some great defending. . Springs will continue to shut down guys along with our newly drafted CB (Rolle, Pacman, or Rogers. we’ll see)...and if they couldn't shut them WR's down...Taylor is going to be there waiting to lay the Smackdown on their candy asses!
4. Its going to be a long season but we luckily make the playoffs….with a 10-6 record.
5. The offensive players of the year will be Clinton Portis and Chris
ey.

My five are based on past experience
1) I won't see the Skins at all but Sky (European Satelitte broadcaster) will show about 12 Eagle games
2) I will work on my ulcer as we hold a team to 75 yards but only lead by 3 leading into the 4th qtr
3) Cowboys will beat us by some fluke play or bad call
4)
ey will get better and better
5) Whatever happens I will love the Skins even more

Very reasonable predictions indeed. I think Moss will be a little better than what most people are giving him credit for at this time. Other than that I'd agree with everything else.
Great post!
