By Dave Richard
NFL.com

Think the prospects heading for the NFL are done taking their exams? Think again! NFL.com has put together this standardized "quiz" for many of the players entering the 2005 NFL Draft. And while it's not the Wonderlic exam, it's certainly a good way to find out more about your favorite future NFL stars.

Full name and position: Antrel Rolle, cornerback
Date and location of birth: Dec. 16, 1982; Homestead Hospital in Homestead, Fla.
College and major: University of Miami, sports administration with a minor in business
1. What is the one thing you will miss the most about college?

Rolle: Just playing with my teammates and the camaraderie I had with them.

2. What is your favorite night-before-the-game meal?

Rolle: We were on a routine meal schedule, so it was usually rice and beans, fried chicken, collard greens and cornbread.

3. Who is the toughest player you faced in college?

Rolle: There are two: (Former teammates) Roscoe Parrish and Andre Johnson (in practice).

4. What other position do you wish you could play?

Rolle: Let me see ... probably wide receiver.

5. Who were your idols as a child?

Rolle: My father and my brother.

6. Whose throwback jersey do you most want (or already have) in your closet?

Rolle: I have a Deion Sanders Florida State throwback jersey. I get heat all the time when I wear it.

7. What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?

Rolle: Play racquetball and shoot pool. I love racquetball.

8. Finish this sentence: The first thing I will buy after signing an NFL contract will be ...

Image
Antrel Rolle's first purchase will likely involve a realtor.
Rolle: A comfortable place to live in the city where I am drafted.

9. Name the most important thing you learned in college.

Rolle: You have to take advantage of each and every situation that you have and never ever take it for granted. You have to make the best out of every opportunity.

10. Pick one: Fame or fortune.

Rolle: Fortune.

11. Do you have any superstitions?

Rolle: When I go out there, I always try to do better than I did the last time. That's about it.

12. Let's say you got to host NFL Total Access for one day. Who would your guests be?

Rolle: Deion Sanders and Troy Vincent.

13. Which NFL stadium are you most looking forward to playing in?

Rolle: Dolphins Stadium

14. Name a question that you think would stump a fellow 2005 draft prospect.

Rolle: "Who will be the highest cornerback ever drafted out of the University of Miami?"

15. It's 100 years from now. How are people going to remember you?

Rolle: The greatest player and the greatest person to ever play the game.

Looks like he's really gonna want to see the green!! I still hopes he lands in our arms. We need ARolle, if MWilliams is not there!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if this was supposed to make me like him more. . .but if it was, then it didn't really work. . .did they just have him make 15 random statements and then write nonsensical questions to match up with the responses?

11. Do you have any superstitions?

Rolle: When I go out there, I always try to do better than I did the last time. That's about it.

Well.....his answers were "okay"...they could have been much worse. I think we're gonna get PAC MAN anyway.

But Pac-man supposedly has bad off the field issures. His personality does not fit with JGibbs. I'm confused on what to do now....if ARolle would just shut up about the whole Sanders and the WR thing....this wouldn't be a problem.......

I petition for this term to be banned along with the term "core player". We let our two of our "Joe Gibbs guys" go in this offseason. Their worth has diminished.

In any case, I want Rolle in B+G so bad! lol.

Sounds like another high priced no-voluntary camp attending headache to me. I'm not sure our secondary has enough ego room for another Hurricane "superstar".
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.
