If I've read the posts correctly, on Draft day we will definately be trading up. Thats unless we trade down of course, or stay where we are. Anyway we are certain to be taking a WR with our first pick, although maybe we will take a TE, or a DE or a CB instead

I'm glad that's cleared things up then :) :)

Draft day .... bring it on!!

I stand by my statement. If I'm wrong I'll admit it.

Yeah, i think Chad is right. We're not going to trade up. If we DO do some trading, it'll be down, and only down.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we traded up. I think this would be a perfect scenario to use Gardner in. Trade our 9 and Rod to say the Vikes for their 7. Or maybe go a little higher.

THE NEWS

The Dolphins would like to trade down out of the second overall position in the upcoming draft, instead making multiple later picks. Two NFC personnel sources told the Miami Herald the Dolphins are inviting trade offers for their first-round pick, and recent statements by the Dolphins' front office seem to confirm that possibility. Miami coach Nick Saban told the Herald the team has a chart indicating what type of compensation the team is willing to accept to move down the draft board, and the club intends to stick to that chart.

OUR VIEW

Miami traded this year's second-round selection to the Eagles last year for quarterback A.J. Feeley, and Saban has acknowledged that the team has more holes than can be filled with one pick in the first 69 selections. However, given the lack of premium talent in this year's draft it's tough to find anyone interested in trading up to get the Dolphins' pick.

This will probably make you a little happy.

Everybody's looking to trade down in this draft because most of the players being considered in the top ten are not worth the money they are going to command. While there are some talents, for the most part there will be many talented playere in the latter rounds that won't require as much compensation. This draft is loaded with equally talented players and not many that stand out head and shoulders above any other.

Yep, and for that reason i seriously doubt we'll move up, and although I'd love for us to trade down, I don't think anyone will offer us anything close to what the pick is worth
