I'm in the vast minority - but I think Taylor and Winslow will be gone by #5. My pick is Steven Jackson - RB from Oregon State. I've seen him play live and several games on TV. Pure stud! If either of the other two fall to us - great too. But I think Jackson is the best to come out in a long time - a bit like LT in San Diego - but I think he's a bit more talented and better between the tackles... and that's saying a lot!

Hell No to Sapp!
I see two options: draft Taylor and pick a smallish but quick DE in the 2nd (there are a few), a TE in the 3rd or 4th (whichever we have), and a RB and DT in FA.
or we trade down with NE - grab Udeze or Smith, draft perry with the next pick, and a TE (Watson Troupe or the guy from Utah)with our 3rd pick, and then sign Adams and another DE (kearse, in a perfect world) in FA.
Sapp is a fat turd, i don't want him on my team.
wouldn't mind a decent C either.

No matter what they say, it's never large enough!

If we really think that we need to p/u a RB in the draft then we can p/u Greg Jones in the 2nd round. Jackson or K. Jones are not worth the #5 pick. Sean Taylor should be around by #5. The 4 teams ahead of us are looking for QB, Receiver and OL. Sean Taylor is the man and is worthy of the #5 pick. We can address DT in the 3rd round with Donnell Washington.

I'd love to see them get Taylor, but I suspect that Gibbs will have a hard time passing on Winslow, attitude or no.
jerseyskin: I think Kiper's right about Gibbs wish list... you noted his heavy use of TE for that 3rd down situation, and the Red Zone, but Didier was an animal in the Fly pattern as well... Gibbs wants that weapon.

I don't see Gibbs picking Winslow that high nor would I want him to. Go with Udeze or Taylor. Someone said to trade down with the Pats for their picks, that wouldn't be a bad idea either even though I doubt Udeze would be available. I also would love to have Greg Jones in the second round if he's available.
Timmy Smith Rules!
If Bailey goes, we definitely need to get Taylor. Hopefully we can get a 1st & 2nd for him if he goes, and also get Harris. I think there will be ok backs in the 2nd round. Look at Dominic Davis. He was a 4th rounder. But Ron Dayne was a 1st. Its tough to tell with offense but defense, what you see is usually what you get.
