per season? per game?

You must be kidding! We know why! When the ball hits his hands he catches 1 and drops 1! He can't catch!

crazyhorse1 wrote:..Not his fault. Go easy on the guy. He's maximized his talent. ..

This guy was a #1 pick and we should have gotten more from him than just trying his hardest and catching every second ball! What talent?

This guy is a wide receiver in the NFL and guys who can't catch should not be a wide receiver in the NFL.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Who would you rather have. Rod or Fast Mouth Freddie? I will slap anyone who says Freddie! That was a retorical question. No one would pick Mitchell over Gardner. Lets see. There are four teams in our division. Name four WR that are better. Here I'll start the list for you: T.O.,

Well, you won't be slapping me ! If I had to choose between the two, of course I stay with Hands O' Stone.
'Course, that's the same as asking "Do you want me to shoot you in the head with this rifle or that one ?" :)

Rod defenders are living in lala land. If Rod is so good, why can't we seem to get a measly 3rd round pick for him? He drops a lot of catchable passes, and that's why nobody seems to be willing to give up a decent pick for him...

regardless of what you guys or us Rod bashers think, the fact is, he asked for a trade and Gibbs and company granted his wishes. Unless a miracle happens, he won't be on our team next season, so why do we need to once again argue the merits of Rod's receiving ability?

Gardner and Coles are out, Patten and Moss are in. It's a new team on offense. We'll see how it works out in the next 6 months...

and if it were a choice between Rod and Freddy, I'd play Thrash as a starter in a heartbeat.

Freddie Mitchell catches catchable passes, and we can't even get a 6th for him!

In my opinion. Sometimes people add a humble/honest to it.

Is this a longer than usual off-season or what? Maybe it just seems longer because certain players are still here, taking up valuable "space"? The draft is still 18 days away!

GF, were they offered a 6?

There's a rumor that they were working on a deal with the Vikings for a 6th. They went out and got Travis Taylor instead.

I wouldn't give you a bag of Frittos for Mitchell! Mitchell isn't half the receiver Gardner is. Let us compare, they both were drafted in the first round of the same draft. Rod has 137 more catches, 1734 more yards, and 17 more TDs. Let just say Gardner is in a completely different class than Fast Mouth Freddie. And as far as your comments about him catching catchable balls, I didn't realise that you all had QB issues, because if he catches catchable balls and he has produce ruffly a third of Gardner production in the same amout of time then either it is him or we have better QBs (don't get your hackels up, even I don't believe we are better at QB)
To all of you that think that I want Gardner on our team, I don't. I'm just sick and tired of this team getting screwed in draft trades. We have such a bad history of giving up too much for too little that no one wants to pony up a measly 3rd round draft pick for a WR that may be the 3rd or 4th best receiver in the division.

This is one of the funniest threads I've seen.

I still say...we need to offer some money with Rod...then maybe someone will take him.

I think the Skins should trade Gardner and a bottle of tylenol -- management will need it for the headaches he brings -- to the Eagles for Freddie Mitchell and a bottle of aleve.

Does that count as something extra?

*

Then both teams can cut them, and immediately improve.

If the Eagles got Gardner it would improve their team a fair amount. Lets just say there is a huge drop off at WR on the Eagles after #81. And Rod would be some where between what they have at the top and the rest of their WRs. Although that guy they were playing in the SB instead of Fast Mouth looks like he has some potential and might be their second best WR.
