Draft pick

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

sup smizzy,
man, it's too far away to really know who we'll shoot for in the draft. top needs right now....
1&2 tied - DT, DE we need a pass rush, and to be able to stop the run.
3 - TE or 2 joe gibbs' offense requires good blocking TE's and we have a shortage.
4 - RB we aren't settled at this position :(
5- maybe a Safety
*6* - if champ bailey dosen't re-sign, we'll also need a corner.

rumor has it we'll take the best athlete available at the fifth overall pick, and that could very well be sean taylor. i don't think we'd pick a d-lineman with a pick that low, cause there really aren't any "stud" d-linemen in the draft.
i expect the defensive line to be handled for the most part through free agency.
like i said, too far off to talk draft, but check out thehogs.net draft site...http://www.thehogs.net/Draft/

that all depends on the free agency period!

well, maybe, but i still don't see him being a top 10 pick. let's put it this way smizzy, if you were on the clock at number 5, and could use a DT or a saftey, who would you choose, wilfolk or taylor? imo, i think taylor will be more of an impact player. i don't see us passing on a guy like that if we could get him. now, if we trade down to 10-15 and wilfolk is there, then yes, we take him, if we don't already have DT covered in FA. like i said, still too early to know anything.
