Redskins Trade for Larry Fitzgerald!!!!

Post by Skinsfan55 »

OMG, this is a huge surprise! We sent our #9 pick, our 1st rounder in 2006 and Ladell Betts to the Cardinals for Larry Fitzgerald this morning! Amazing!!!

Here's the link:

Didn't anyone tell you sf55... you were part of the package.

We got a bag of footballs for you, so you best be making your way over to the cardinals site -- your new home.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

 Uh-oh! Dang, I guess I'll have to head on over and dig in for the long wait for Arizona superbowl glory... It will be especially tough to do without Fitzgerald but watching Betts and that #9 will be a lot of fun! :D

Oops, more news, this trade was overturned by the commish's office... I guess I'm back!!

Seriously though, if Bryant Johnson is the #3 reciever is their any way the Redskins could trade for him?

Dude, that was horrible. You've got to at least make them believable. I knew it was a BAD April Fools joke the second I saw it.

I'm disappointed.

You can't beat the prank Jeff Fisher pulled in 2003. He went on a local TV station and said that they traded Eddie George and Steve McNair to the Bengals for Corey Dillon. He was quoted as saying "we traded away our franchise." Then he let out the news that it was an April Fools joke. It sounded hilarious to me. The Titans fans must have been pissed.

Well I would make one about trading DMac to the Ravens... but no one would care about us losing our 5th string reciever :(

*burn*

:)

I could also make one about Kellen Winslow, Jr. being traded to the Jets for John Abraham, too. (But that is already a real rumor.)

That's a real rumor?!?!

What? I like K2 but that's insane, haha. I guess Abraham has to go though.

Anyway, doesn't Kellen Winslow being on the Jets and being from Miami make it like 400X more likely we get him in the next couple of years? :)

Yeah: Abraham and the Jets 2nd and 5th rounders to CLE for K2 and the Browns' #3 pick overall.

Not unless we get Jonathan Vilma, too.

What do you guys think about trading Rod Gardner for EJ Henderson and a 7th rounder? I didn't think this was worth starting its own thread.

It got my heart pumping but then I checked out who the author was. Of course it was you....:)

Unlike some people I didn't get excited...I got mad. I entered this thread wondering what kind of stupid move we made to get him, like giving aways this year and next years 1st rounder.

I was relieved its a joke.
