Anyone get to see the fight on HBO? I was there - my first live bout, but can't say I was one of the many Vargas supporters.

Really enjoyed the live event....then went home and watched it on HBO.

Amazing how much differently a fight is in person as opposed to television. I wasn't convinced Vargas had won the fight, until I got home and saw it from a different perspective. Regardless, I still believe he was outworked...and had it not been for his name, defense and a few nice shots, I believe he would have lost the fight.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

Vargo looked like garbage- if he fights anyone competent looking like he did- he will get sent to the canvas again. I think he is done-

Good stuff seeing it live TH. It's definitely MUCH different when you're there.

On the undercard there was the biggest joke of a hometown decision you've ever seen. A fighter from here in Corpus Christi was fighting a guy from Dallas. The kid from Dallas beat this hometown fighter like a red-headed stepchild for the entire 6 rounds. The decision - unanimous for the hometown kid. Unbelievable!
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
