LB Jamie Sharper on the trading block?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

LB Jamie Sharper on the trading block?

Post by oafusp »

Slim pickings in FA LB Land.
Of course Ed Hartwell is the front runner in UFA, but here is some other ideas. Sorry, I am not buying the Barrow or Marshall crap.

I heard about a middle lineback in Houston that is pretty decent. His name is Jay Forman (released by Texans)...and another well known Houston LB is on the trading block....Jamie Sharper!!

Foreman is decent, and has potential. Sharper is a bonafide STUD!

Jamie Sharper
2004: 139 tackles!, 2 sacks, 3 forced fumbles
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/p ... atsId=3908

Jay Foreman
2004: 79 tackles
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/p ... atsId=4806

Sharper would be costly, but if the Courtney Brown trade does not go through then maybe Gardner could be traded to Houston (since they don't have a #2 WR).

Houston Texans: The Texans found a candidate for their turnover at inside linebacker by reaching a one-year deal with Chargers linebacker Zeke Moreno.

Since the signing of Morlon Greenwood from the Dolphins to take over at inside linebacker, the Texans released Jay Foreman and have placed Jamie Sharper on the trade block. That created the opening for Moreno, a fifth-round pick of the Chargers in 2001.

Another guy is:

Rob Morris - 77 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 INT

That's it, please post someone else if you have an idea.

I would love to see Sharper in burgundy and gold though.
burp.

Gardner for Foreman...pretty simple.

Corey Bradford is too old to be a go-to guy. Rod is easily better, put him in there and watch him preform.

Jay Foreman could go to middle or be in rotation and he could have a breakout year.

If not just a straight up player trade then Gardner to the Texans for a 3rd and Foreman...hehe

CP, Forman was already released. Gardner's not bad enough to be traded for an unrestricted free agent.

OafusP... you're a little late with this info, my friend.
