Giants sign Burress

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Giants sign Burress

The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

Dang, that sucks... Burress is a beast.

just a prediction. burress only signed there because he wouldn't have any competition as a #1. My 2 cents

....even with few other suitors interested in him, the five-year veteran refused to take a physical exam. Sources said that one of the first things Burress did Thursday, upon arriving at team headquarters was take a physical.

he needed alittle time to clean the swag out of his system.. :)

it's a decent sign by them... they're still gonna need to protect Eli to get him the ball... otherwise, he's useless...

I agree with BTP! It's a decent signing but we cannot get too worried as they really have a problem with their O line.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

The guy had less catches than Stinkston did last season, and less YPC. He has never lived up to all the hype, I'm not worried the Giants have him. I am relieved the Eagles didn't wind up with him. He's a cancer in the locker room.

Yes, better the Giants than the Eagles or Cowboys!

Look at it this way. If the O-line doesn't step up in NY, this signing won't mean jack.

Exactly. With the season that Pittsburgh had last season, he was the only player that I know of that actually spoke poorly of the team and their direction this offseason. I know that Pittsburgh residents hate Burress now, and you must really turn on them to become a hated player.

Swiss cheese...
That is exactly what the giants o-line is right now, plus they don't have anyone to get Plax the ball yet. So I'm not worried one bit.

This is only a problem if the Redskins don't find an adequate replacement for Smoot, who would be charged with covering Toomer while Springs took care of Plexiglass Whatshisname.
Freeing up Amani Toomer is not a good recipe for success.

If men can run the world, why can't they stop wearing neckties? How intelligent is it to start the day by tying a little noose around your neck?
