Whatever happened to K-Mitch?

Post by JPFair »

Anyone know where Kevin Mitchell ended up, or even IF he ended up somewhere? I always thought he was worthy of being a starter, but when he was released so suddenly last year I had a strange feeling that he may have been a problem in the locker room. Anyone know what happened to him after that?
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

Kevin hasn't signed with anyone since being released.

He has spent his time at home in Virginia with his family.

I think he is leaving open the possibility of continuing his NFL career but at the same time is content with his situation at home.

I always liked Kevin myself and thought he would be a great starter too.

Nice info Jake. I think the possibility of K Mitch returning to the NFL is slim to none. He was a good special teamer, but he's 34 now. BUT if i was to pick a 34 year old unsigned old redskins floating around out there it would have to be Tre' Johnson. I know it would be stupid it ain't going to happen but I do miss Tre'. It's a shame he got that bad knee. I still wear his jersey from time to time.

Kevin was a good guy... Did pretty well when asked to.

I'd take Mitchell over Tre, that bumm knee is a huge liability... but like you said, neither are going to come back... there are not enough Ray Browns in the NFL

Its probably time on Mitchell`s career - the other side of football. For every L.Coles feathering his own nest there are 10 at home with the family killing time.
Lets go Redskins !

Neon Deion would have to take the bare minimum to come back here. I personally would rather he stay away, I'll miss Smoot's entertaining talking, but not enough to replace it with Neon.

Sean Taylor seemed to be finding his groove in smack talking halfway through the season there. I'm looking forward to seeing some more finger shaking and talking from #36

Deion could offer to pay us, and I still wouldn't want him.
