R.W. on the move?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

R.W. on the move?

Post by WVskinsfan »

I read on the Bears message board that R.W.McQuarters may be cut.He is a decent CB and a versitile punt returner. If released and we were able to get him cheap...should we go after him?

He might add some depth, but I don't think he's a starter anymore...

For Christ's sake, he's being dropped from the Bears! He MUST not be any good, lol.

I would prefer to go young and get two DB's in the draft but we might need some vet help. Any thoughts anyone on a 1-2 yr. contract as a stop-gap for a Dale Carter, Terrell Buckley, Ray Buchanan or Kevin Mathis ????????

It will take two years to develop a draft pick.

....and I almost forgot ... as of 10:31 EST Deion Sanders is STILL available and so is the #21.

If I am right, this is the guy who got the Bears into the endzone versus us.

Brunell in practice might make him think he is still in Chicago!

R-Dub is a player. At the very least he'd help on Special Teams. I like him, and so will a host of other teams - he's got his best days ahead of him imho.

Honestly, I would love to entertain the idea of bringing in McQuarters. Like Scooter said, he is a player. I watched a few Bears games the past couple of years. He is really good.
