Which Color Would You Pick?

Post by hogred »

Just wondering what you guys think. I like the Black but they say that every thing shows up on black.

If dark metallic green is anything like "hunter green" then it'll look good for years to come.

Silver is too common, I hate that my car is silver.

You can never go wrong with black. Classy, stylish... oh, and very slimming

Really? I would have thought much easier than any other color.

Goodness no!!! Black is horrible to keep clean. It shows imperfections a lot more than any other color. When it is clean, nothing is like it...

My car is dirt colored, so it never looks clean.

Oh, and white is the hardest to keep clean. With black, it obscures some of the highway crud and smoot-type gunk that gets on cars, but it shows every little speck of dust and light-colored dirt (as previously mentioned).

I used to have a 2001 Civic that was hunter green and it was fairly easy to keep clean-looking. If I were buying a new car now, I'd go with blue, because that's my favorite color.

I think it's all up to personal preference. My old car which Scott inherited is dark blue. It does ok until Pollen comes and then it's always looking yellowish. lol His old car was a light color and it was horrible to keep clean. Our new car is burgundy which I thought would be somewhere in the middle, and easy to keep clean, however it is not. It's actually just as hard. So base it on what you like, they all have their down falls. Enjoy your new vehicle though! ;-)
Whenever I start to get blue, I just breathe!

Flanders: "Looks like someone is having a pre-rapture party!"

Homer: "No Flanders, it's a meeting of gay witches for abortion , you wouldn't be interested!"

Silver. You can't go wrong. Clean, classic, universal appeal.

I also have a soft spot for it since my favorite car, my old 1983 Caprice Classic, was silver. Lots of sentimental value.

Red keep some wax on it and it looks great. I have a red '94 Dodge Ram and it still looks great.

black for sure...owned two black pickups and one black car

my current truck is silver and gray....it doesn't get as dirty, but also doesn't look as sweet when clean

if you can garage it, go black!
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.

Good choice - buy what you like and just wash the thing when it needs it. In Maine you may be washing some salt off in the winter I would guess.

and Niki - with a blue car and yellow pollen, wouldn't that make your car turn GREEN
