Call me crazy, but...
Courtney Brown is soon to be released from the Browns, wouldn't LaVar's former teammate look nice at defensve end?
Could be get Brown for a reasonable price?
I love the idea of Courtney Brown coming here, because he has the Boy Named Sue principle working for him, same for Casey Rabach, and all the other players with transgender names, they have a point to prove! lol

Brown's lack of success really didn't have to do with coaching or talent, but rather from a litany of injuries.
He played some darn good football when he was at full strength, unfortunately for him that consisted of about half a quarter during 2001.
He was one of the earlier micro-fraecture surgeries before they've made great strides in the procedure and I doubt he'll ever fully recover.

This space reserved for BTP......If he ever wins it.
Yeah, you're crazy.
I honestly don't even know why he was the #1 pick. I never even heard of him until draft day rolled around.
He has been very injury-prone and never lived up to his potential when he was healthy.

Where were you hiding? That Penn State D was probably the most exciting football to watch that year.
I wasn't a draft buff back then. I didn't really know who Chirs Samuels was until we drafted him, either.

I think that for this very reason he may be a cheap acquisition. I'd say let Gregg work with him. I don't think I'd be going too far out on a limb to say he has more potential than Renaldo. He was a #1 pick for a reason, if the price is right I'd scoop him up. Thats only because G. Williams is the man!
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

Actually a lot of the reason Brown WASN'T as successful as he could have been is because the Browns have been playing him in the wrong spot since his second year.
They moved him to left end and he just didn't pan out as well as he played at right... but they kept him there anyway.
He has had a boatload of injuries, but he's done some great things for the Browns. The guy has re-worked his contract like 37,000 times to try and help the team out cap wise... there's just nothing left for Cleveland to trim.
If he comes at a good price... I'd take a flyer on him.

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
