Erasmus James

I just thought it would be a good idea to remind everyone that we could really use him, too.

It's not like we only need Williams, Edwards, Rolle or Jones

Did something happen to this guy that I don't know about or did everyone just forget about him?
I miss you 21.

God I wish we had a second round pick.

i just don't think anyone feels he's worth the #9 pick. maybe if we trade down to a mid teen pick, maybe.

We should teade up for cheaper picks this year.

No I candy. Coles cap hit messed us up.

it's just such a tough draft to trade up in. not really much superstar talent that will be available at #9 for other teams to pursue. we'd probably get the shaft if we traded up. My 2 cents

How bout give up our number 9 pick for two 2nd rounders.

There will be talent there and we would less likely have holdouts this summer.

The bank is closed, know what I mean?

If we draft a dominant pass rusher, it will make our secondaries job much easier.

If we get a CB, they will just be chasing their man all over the field and get tired.

I've got a lot of respect for James, coming back from a monsterous injury to play pretty darn well. I don't think he's a first round pick - but could be of value in the second if he lasts. Pollack, Roth, Cody, the other Cody, Merriman... there's a ton of talent at DE. The draft is full of DE's - it could hurt all of them unless there is an early "run" on them in the draft. my 37 cents :0)

I'd love to get Shawn Merriman but I generally don't like to have DE's who are under 260 lbs. I worry that they won't be able to stop the run. The Colts seemed to do pretty well with Robert Mathis last year...and he's smaller than Merriman.

thats because of a monster pass rusher on the other side of the colts d-line who absorbs all of the double teams. ;)

Yeah, very true. And I'd like to see their Run D stats.
