Pierce's Replacement?
I was going through a few draft sites looking at MLB's that could possibly replace Antonio Pierce. I stumbled upon some guy I've never heard of, James Kinney, from Missouri. I've never seen him play but by the way hes described hes an EXACT REPLICA of Antonio Pierce. Both are 6-1, both have good builds, both are very fast at the LB spot, both have great instincts and are very smart players. MLB is the captain of the defense so it's important for them to be intelligent and this guy probably wont get drafted until the 5th-6th round and might even go undrafted. I'd love to take a chance on him....

There's nothing wrong with taking a guy in the later rounds and grooming him to play in your system. Although I hate to admit it, that is what the Eagles have done consistently for several years now. I want to see Barrow start, but who better on this team to help the progression of a young kid but an experienced MLB?

James Kinneys Pro Bowl Results According To NFL.com....
James Kinney LB Kinney (6-0½, 244) had some very impressive stats for a linebacker. He ran his 40s in 4.64, 4.62 and 4.63. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.32 seconds, the three-cone drill in 6.77 and the long shuttle in 11.29. He had 30 bench presses, a 10-foot broad jump and a 34-inch vertical jump.
WOW THIS GUY MUST BE PICKED UP BY US. 4.6 speed, 30 bench reps, 6.77 CONE DRILL!!!!

I dont know if you've been living under a rock or what but Barrows old with knees creakier than my bedspring
We only picked the guy up a year ago. I doubt the staff is ready to chalk him up as Brunell #2. IF his knee is healthy we should start him.

if we're talkin MLB, lets talk about this guy i saw at the combine Robert McCune...if anyone saw him at the combine last weekend then you'd know what i was talking about, but the guy is a freaking monster...I've never seen a guy so big...he's got no neck and his arms are easily bigger than my thighs...he's 6'0 245 and runs a 4.5 and did 35 reps
i personally don't think we need to pick up a linebacker in the draft, but IF we were, this guy would be my choice.

I like Barrow and if he can't go, he'll mentor Marshall. Who in my opinion will do just fine with the coaching that surrounds him, he only has an upside. Even if he is doesn't weigh as much as he should for MLB, the guy has guts and is tough. LA's shoes were pretty big to fill at the time and he step up (into) the challenge and preformed well.

McCune did a stint in the military and would be a 26 year old rookie... But yeah he is a physical freak... Never seen him play though

that's why he'd be a second day pick...and i've never really seen him play either, just saw some highlights and some stats. and i've just never seen anyone that big at the combine...if was a late round pick and we WERE looking for a MLB, wouldn't mind seeing him in a redskins uni
