No but him coming to washington doesn't change how he plays the game. The fact i have seen every snap moss has played in the NFL , and ive seen every play Coles played in NY.

Coles is the better WR,he's tougher and more physical and will go get the football no matter what.

I think that hearing this from the media might change the way he plays. Washington journalists are pretty tough on the redskins.

I watched a sunday night game between Baltimore and Washington last year.

Mark Brunell was stinking up the joint. Coles got his head handed to him on like 5 different ocassions. The Ravens were just taking shot after shot at this guy. He kept catching these overthrown and underthrown footballs and getting blasted. He'd get right back up and come back for more.

That's why, He's better than Santana.

In this trade, We gave up a good WR for an even better one.

I wish Santana nothing but the best. But to me, This deal makes way too much sense on so many different levels. You've got Coles locked up long term. Moss wasn't going to be back next year.

The Jets have to get a kick returner now though. They lost Santana's huge skill level on returns.

I agree. In the other thread their talking about other stuff so i go threads that pertain up to date information that pertains to that threads title. Somehow threads get way off topic and get into the draft then on peoples grandmas chocolate chip cookies, and then people get mad about reposting, posting in the wrong thread, and thats the evolution of a thread.

This thread had been started 9 minutes before he posted his post,then he reposted the link to the story in this thread after i had already posted that too and then yelled at somebody for reposting the link,again...,so technically he should be mad at himself. :lol:

If you don't like the rules... then why are you on the board? You AGREE to follow them when you register for the board.

Don't like the rules... don't post here... simple.

But I see no reason to change rules that HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of people appreciate and compliment us on daily. if yoiu don't like our philosophy... that's cool.. but we really don't care or feel the need to justify it to you. These are the rules that the staff decided on when we started the board... and we're sticking to them whether you like it or not.

has been a daily thread everyday this week.
BH and the Mods have been preaching the same thing all week and they are still moderating 17 threads on the same subject every day.
The subject may change daily but it's still wrong and unfair to them

Keeping on the subject...MOSS trade. Are we set now at receiver. Is Moss demanding an extention. I'd like to sign him to a real short contract 2-3 seasons MAX and then re-evaluate.

Did Portis demand a new contact or did you guys just sign him to one??

I don't remember. I think Moss will ask for a new deal if he hasn't already...he just asked us tfro a new deal and we sent him to you.

You've ignored the very point I just made. But, again, no one can say with any degree of certainty that playing for Joe Gibbs will have no impact on Moss.
The fact that you've watched Moss play has no bearing whatsoever on Joe Gibbs abilities as a coach.

I fully agree a guy can get a fresh start and change his ways...but im not talking about his attitude or his route running or his ability to seperate.

Simply post (within the thread) stating "Done Deal"
you can highlight done deal ...make it bold or iltalic you can even change the color or underline it regardless once you post, it will be bumped to the top of the page to alert all users that a new message as been posted. (that's why you have different color checks next to each thread title).

Next season we be a telling one to see if the Jets really got the better of us after that 2003 offseason aquisition.

Hall is appearing to be a injury bust and Morton is a bust as well.

Coles was adequate while he was here but cost us a #1 pick.

Randy Thomas was a Solid pickup though. We will see who got the better of whom. It is not as clear now as it was back then when it seemed as though we completely pillaged them.

But the rules make since ....you visit the board to find out what's up with Coles and his wanting to be traded and you see

1. Coles wants out
2. Coles traded to Jets
3. Moss for Coles
4. Coles trade dead
5. Coles wants release
6. Coles gives back $5M
7. Coles deal off
8. Coles deal back on
9. Oh NO what do we do with out Coles

You can do a search of Coles Trade and get 231 post that's (as BTP would say) cool but you will also see 6 different threads on this subject. So starting a new thread won't always get the word out why would I read a thread titled "Coles trade for Moss complete" with 2 replys when I just finished reading a 4 page 41 post thread that was titled "ESPN: Jets/Skins complete WR swap".

I go through this every now and then with the Mods (mostly Jake) because I feel what I'm posting should be worthy of a new thread or I look at the story in a different light which would make it a new subject. When this happems I reveiw what I've posted verses what the Mod has linked as the proper thread to have posted in. Not being defensive,or feeling picked on I then will decide weather I'm right or if the Mod is right ( the rule say the Mod is always right but I've already been called wrong, so what do I have to lose).
When I don't come up on the short end and I I'm justified in starting a new thread I will PM the Mod and point to my reason for starting a new thread. I don't go back and forth with the mods on the board to prove why it was ok to post the thread where I did (I did this once, then a few days later I reread the thread).

If you think you are right, then PM the Mod and state your case if nothing else you'll gain some insight.

I know the first time I do a reveiw of my new thread and the link the Mods say I should have posted in. I've got a scathing pretyped PM just waiting to be used.

I just keep seeing there point of veiw when I put myself in the shoes of someone who is doing this for our benefit and alls they are asking for is a little uniformity
