I am personally torn between Taylor and Winslow. Both are can't miss prospects who are gonna be future pro bowlers. I think that the line can be addressed in FA and it would be stupid to pass up both of these impact players in the draft. Maybe ol' Dan will pull off a trade for the 6th pick like he did arrington's year and we can get them both and be satisfied. If that doesn't happen then I will be satisfied with either one and be disappointed with anyone else at that spot although trading down and getting Kevin Jones would be okay.
I don't remember much from the first Gibbs Era but after struggling through all these years, I hope i have a chance to finally feel the glory. GO SKINS!!!

If we trade Bailey we need DL and RB help more than we need a Safety...

Just saw this on pro football weekly:

Despite many other pressing needs, the Redskins reportedly are intrigued by two Miami (Fla.) underclassmen — FS Sean Taylor and TE Kellen Winslow Jr. — with the No. 5 pick in the draft.

and i don't think bowen is as bad as some of you might think. if you had champ, smoot and taylor back there with decent defensive play calling, bowen might look pretty da#n good laying people out. it was nice to see we had a SS that was putting hits on people like Alvin Walton used to (even if some of them were on our team). you can't gauge any player's worth under the steve spurrier regime because the whole thing was flawed. give him a year under Gibbs and then let the heads roll...

Bowen's a tool

Post by TopHawg »

Bowen got beat on more plays than that one. How about that angle he took on the first defensive play of the miami game that gave uip a touchdown. He's slow and hits like my grandmother. IF he's so goo we can trade for someone worth a penny and Sean Taylor in the draft. He's the best Athlete in the draft and uoght to go No. 1. I'm no miami fan and I'd rather even Kevin Jones come to the skinsbut htere will be other back available but it's not everyday an athlete like Taylor comes around. If the first four teams are crazy enough to pass him up, I don't see how we can.
