CB Gary Baxter has signed with the Browns

now with Baxter being off the market there are really only to legit corners left, Smoot and Rolle, bolstering their value.

I dont know why there are all of these new Smoot bashers because during the season everyone one here loved him, and now just because he hasn't signed with us yet a lot of guys hate him.

Hopefully we get him back for not only his talent, but also his Redskins locker room presence.

Have to agree. I don't think I've ever seen a guy in this era prouder to be a Redskin and displaying more hate for my 'Boys. :lol:

I know, how could we have "Dallas" week without Fred Smoot?

I mean who's that guys sig. that has the Smoot quote "I hate Texas Stadium, if i had a match I would burn it down"

That is a true Redskin.

Err, Ty Law? I'd take Ty Law over both if the price was right...
Also, Surtain is available for trade....not that we have anything to offer.

Both are better than Rolle/Smoot IMO and many others.

As for Smoot, I love the guy, I have not bashed him, but I do not see how he is worth more than Springs (5 picks, 5 sacks). It would be an odd situation if Springs was making less and he was more productive and senior in the league...Springs has one more Pro Bowl than Smoot.
Also, just because other teams (Dallas, Carolina) are overpaying their CB's does not mean the Skins have to...let those teams suffer in their cap hell.

Smoot will be back if he accepts his true worth rather than the inflated CB market. However, I wish the Redskins would put incentives into their $10 million offer that would give him $15 million if he reached certain accomplishments.

yeah, i forgot about Ty Law.
