It was good to see a team from Washington playing baseball again, I really like the uniforms they wore today, Those hats are awesome, I remember them from when I was a kid seeing the Senators wearing them

I watched it online today... Pretty wild watching a real hometown team.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

SkinsChic (or Jake), I'm just wondering---is Jake now an official Washington fan to the extent that he no longer supports the O's, or does he still support both clubs?

Full-out Nats, now. I still have a place in my heart for the O's because I grew up with them but they aren't my team anymore.

I am a DC supporter ahead of Baltimore and have always said that when a team comes to D.C., they will be my team. I still have my O's hat with Elrod Hendricks' signature on it and my 2 O's shirts. I also have several programs and media guides from O's and Baysox games.

So, when my birthday came, so did the Expos, which maybe was a sign.

I feel bad for not being an O's fan anymore because they are who I grew up with and changing teams goes against everything I stand for. Personally, I hate it when people like two teams, switch their favorite teams, or stop rooting for a team when they lose.

I'm gonna miss going to Baysox games. The closest minor league teams for the Nationals are in Va and I think they have a team in Harrisburg, PA.

Yes, I am full-blown Nationals now. I have a shirt, keychain, pennant and bumber sticker. Now all I need are a hat and opening day tickets.

Geeeeeeze Jake....does that mean when Ray gives us free tix to the O's you don't want me to take them ?? Aren't they in different divisions ?? Geeeeeeeze....an American League team and National League team can't be so bad unless they play each other...then go for the Nationals....

Myself...I'm not a huge baseball fan but I will follow the Nationals and keep up with the O's too probably.

Something to keep me busy till Football Starts again !

Yeah, just checking :)

As for me, I just wasn't a baseball fan until they came to DC. My dad was a baseball fan until they left town; and as a result I've been raised on Skins football.

I did dislike a lot of the Annapolis people that I know who turned from Redskins fans into Ravens (or, at the beginning, Browns) fans overnight. . .but I have to say that I'd do the same thing if, God forbid, the Skins left town and came back 10-15 years later.

I'm excited to start following baseball again. Since I go to school in the fall and miss most of the Redskins, and I don't watch baseball over the summer, and with the NHL doing its thing, I haven't been much of a spectator at all in the last year or so (besides the occasional Saturday morning golf).

No, I'll take them.

If I rooted for the O's, it would be like having a 2nd favorite team, and I don't have 2 favorites in any sport. It would be like saying that the Skins and Ravens are my favorite teams.

*For the record, I hate the Ravens.

(But I did wear ravens stuff to a few games their first year. I didn't know any better.)

Although, I wore a Skins jacket to a Ravens-Vikes game in 1998 and was STILL able to get Ogden's autograph.
