This is nice...just after George Micheal stated the Redskins were not interested in him and that we were not in any type of negotiations with him or his agent.lol. This year must be the year to make everyone everyone confused and non-informed. First Gibbs with Coles and now George.lol.

All the reports had Jonas Jennings going to the NY Jets, then he signs a deal from left field with the Niners. Same with DT Pat Williams. the only thing that is for sure, these guys don't know anymore then you and I.

I reported that the Broncos would be interested in Gerard Warren 3 days before any other media outlet did. Of course they make it seem like they knew it all along!:-D

Did they win the pulitzer?

Of all sources, you rely on "Pro Football Central"?

This would be my complaint. They both have similar stats so if we are going to pay Rollie that why not Smoot? It would be different if Rollie's stats were outragous but they were similar. Now if Rollie is accepting the pay Smoot turned down then take him. Neither one should be getting paid as if they were top 5 players in their position. Is Smoot making this so difficult because he truly wants to be paid more then he is worth? Are the Redskins looking to sign Rollie and keep Smoot...maybe cut another player? Or is Smoot wanting to go to a specific team...perhaps the Broncos to be with Champ...his buddy?

Uhhh...read the other posts....this is garbage.

Look at their source. This has already been posted twice.

Don't sweat it until you hear it confirmed by a reliable source.

I would rather have Smoot, he is younger and not comming off a knee injury. I hope we did not break the bank for him.

It's garbage... I actually e-mailed the site staff and asked them what it's all about... especially since Samari visited KC today... so it's garbage...

hopefully they will remove it soon so we can bury this silly rumor... It's kinda irresponsible reporting from a site thats trying to jump in the mix of sports reporting...

BTP:

Yes. Rumorbaloney.

It's beginning to remind me of English soccer-football. Arsenal and Manchester United always win everything. The only real excitement comes from the rumors the players' agents float that "<Team X> is set to swoop for <player ABC>", which means that <player ABC> might be sold to any other team in the world except for <Team X>. The fans of <Team X> hyperventilate for a week, and then, voomaroom, there's another rumor.

I guess the agent systems in the NFL and the Premier League work alike.
