Hey guys how have you been. First off Rick is doing ok he is hero of the month on the hoggetts msn web site for Feb. Mikey T is a great guy. Second we need wide recievers more than anything else at this point. Signing a center was brilliant. Greg W will have our defense looking good no matter who we drop in there he is the "KEY".
ok seeya

Glad to hear that Rick is doing alright--we're all wondering about him, so thanks for the update.
I'd say that Williams is genius, but he did have some pretty good players to work with as well. No one (except Redskins fans) knew that Pierce had potential, Ryan Clark proved to be a valuable pickup, and we all knew that our corners were good going into the year. So, since we're losing Pierce and (probably) Smoot, it isn't unwise to try and get some D back right now in FA so that we can draft some offense and build up young talent.
Also, it's only been a day or two into free agency--there is still time. We've signed a center, and the WR market is still open. It seems that general consensus is that we'll pick up a WR in FA (possibly Santana Moss via trade. . .), and perhaps draft one with the #9 come April.

As blitz oriented as Williams D is, he needs very good corners for it to work. Thats one reason why everyone is talking D. As for O, the only needs are now WR and maybe a TE. There are lots of TEs availiable so no rush there, and at WR we can draft one.
