What about Jurevicius

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

What about Jurevicius

Post by CcHhDd »

He was cut by the Bucs the other day. He'd be a nice big target for Ramsey. I'm just posting this if we get rid of Rod, Coles, and D'Mac and start fresh. I think he'd be a good fit in the system, possibly use him as a backup H back to cooley. Just throwing the name out there

We can't afford to "start fresh", there aren't enough WRs out there this yr (considering everyone else seems to be in the market for them too). And besides, aren't we looking for a fast guy to streach the D?

I like Jurevicius. I like the way he plays.

I don't know that we could use him though. I would rather add some youth to the receiving corps.

I think Jacobs will have a legitimate shot to be our #2 receiver this year.

Plus his injuries would be a big question mark.

first, we aren't getting rid of coles unless he gives up the money. He won't, so he stays. Rod is as good as gone. DMac is up in the air, but I think he stays now.

I wouldn't touch Jurevicius. He's like a bad Keyshawn.

We got Jacobs for starters. I'd love to add someone like Patten, Givens, Kevin Johnson, Nathon Poole, Bobby Shaw, Travis Traylor or Burress.

We will also draft a WR most likely.

Sorry, I'd have to disagree. Taylor's been labeled a bust since his rookie season (in 2000).

Honestly, I would rather keep Rod than Taylor. Taylor has never been productive in any of his 5 seasons in the NFL.

Ironically... here's what I posted in one of the JUREVVICIUS THREADS IN AROUND THE LEAGUE:

Please post threads that have NOTHING to do with the Redskins in the Around The League forum.

Please don't use 'well it's cause I thought that the Redskins could use the player' as a reason to post it in Hog Wash because apparently some of you think we should sign anybody and everybody available in free agency.

In many instances... when you get to the Around the league forum, there is already a thread on the article... so it improves the flow of conversation in more ways than one.

... and yet we have yet another JJ thread. Well... I'm moving this one to Around the League too.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
