Draft a center yes or no

Post by John Manfreda »

Would you all draft a center as?

I would for one reason depth, I am also a huge fan of the centers in this draft one from Nebraska and the one from Michigan. We need depth just in case this guy goes down. I also think that the centers in this draft could be better than the guy from Baltimore. Not sure because never seen the Baltimore guy play. Well I did but did not pay attention to him. They did have a good line though. I think he will work out.

We have Raymer and Friedman and until one or both of them are released, I don't see how center could be that high on our list of draft priorities after signing Rabach.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Rabach will be 28 this year and has only played one full year really...I'd not worry about another center this year...I'd keep either Friedman or Raymer (I'd like Friedman as he can play guard or center) and see how the year goes. Maybe we get another backup center next year. UNLESS...we trade down and can get Baas from Michigan who can play center or guard with a 2nd round pick -- that would be nice.
