what we really need!!!

Post by skins#1fan »

look guys its obvious that we have no passing game or a deep threat. We need a tall physical wide out. I dont want a short fast guy that has good hands. We have coles as of now and jacobs with speed and thrash. We need a tall physical go to guy like edwards. I like him because He stayed his last year which shows some character instead of rushing. All the other teams do is stack the line of scrimmage against us because there not worried about getting beat deep. If we get Edwards and then you put the speed in jacobs,"coles" and thrash and mccants around this guy we would be dangerous

Darnerien McCants.

Thread Killer

But I agree Darnerien can fill this role as he has in the pass. Going into camp he'll have something to proof and I think he'll get his point accros.

That being said I also think we'll pick up a WR to stretch the field that is also tall we have Jacobs to fill the role of the small speedy wideout

Mcants won't be the game breaker we need. maybe a #3 guy but not the stud the skins need.
May #21 never be worn again by another Redskin but may every Redskin play like they are wearing #21 on their backs.

Hayward would be an EXCELLENT pickup. Not too expensive, moderately priced, and a young player waiting to break out ala Cornelius Griffin or Marcus Washington.... Good speed pass rusher whos solid against the run, something we're lacking at DE (unless you count C. Clemons but he's more of a situation pass rusher)

You said it yourself he is waiting for that break out year. The size is perfect for a DE, 6-5 270 is pretty nice. I haven't seen any threads on this guy, do you have any?

Okay...I disagree.
He led our offense in 2003 with 6 TD's. He is exactly what you want in a tall possession WR. What is your explanation to this statement. Support your answer...the only time I would've accepted that was if you said...
Brunell is a joke...but that is a whole different ball game..
Pete Kendall is a MAN and a half..

lmao about your napoleon dynamite quote at the bottom...
im in for that reggie heyward guy, seems like he could be a stud...that would clear our defensive end struggle, and wouldnt have to focus on that in the draft.

We are in a can't lose situation - there will be a great WR, DE, or CB by position 9. We take whatever best player is available by then.

If Smoot is gone, then I think CB might be the best use of the pick, or trade down, get Pollack and some CB later in the draft.
